It was a small restaurant but a cosy one suitable for couples or a few friends to have a meal or drink. I would not recommend a big group as there are not enough space in a limited setting. The food is generally nice, but I like the vanilla milkshake which is yummy, smooth & mouth watering. We bought 2 and have to share among the 3 of us, which I find it would definitely be more satisfying if one would have the whole cup by himself! continue reading

Breeks Cafe serves a wide variety of fusion food. Cosy place with plush seats, delicious food and nice ambiance. Staff are super friendly, attentive and efficient.Even with many customers around, the staff will attend your requests with a genuinesmile. Here are my orders:The pasta is Al-dante serves with marinara sauce and seafood. The sauce is full of flavourand tasty. The serving portion is just nice for me.The size of the fish is just nice and juicy. Baked potato is very soft and buttery. Vegetablesare soggy. Serves on hotplate (with sizzle sound) plus the unique sambal taste to dip in. Bulgogi Bibimbap is a famous and traditional korean dish. It's a mixed rice with beef, kimchi, eggand others. Authentic flavor, tasty and filling.Spending: Approximately 80SGD with drinks and desserts (all ala carte) continue reading

Went down to town that day with friends and chanced upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The ambience was very nice and staff were friendly. I ordered their Baked Seafood Rice (as I can be considered somewhat a fan of baked rice). The taste was creamy and a little garlicky for me. There were visible pieces of shrimps and fish fillets and white clams. Overall good experience. continue reading

Went to Breeks Cafe Marina Square's outlet for late lunch one Monday afternoon. However, to my surprise, there were only 3 tables filled with customers in the entire restaurant. Hence, I ordered for myself their Grilled fish with bolo pasta ($18.90) The Grilled Salmon On Hot Plate was served with fries, blanched garden greens and ceviche sauce, still piping and crackling hot. It was indeed one of the best grilled fish I have ever tasted. The sauce was refreshing compared to the normal mixed sauce accompanying the dory, and the dory was grilled to perfection. continue reading

Probably one of the best cheese "fries" i've ever tasted! instead of the usual fries, they made it into waffles. The taste was heavenly! Eating just this would really fill you up! The balance of the spice was just nice. The cheese was not too much, just perfect. One of my fav dish! continue reading
