First time trying out the Char Kway Teow under seeing it on Open Rice Apps.Ordered a white char kway teow and I must say it was very good. Personally, I like my char kway teow to be dry and the lady did it very well. It was fragrant as it was fried with sufficient heat without being burnt. The taste of garlic and the fresh cockles was amazing. Looking forward to eating there again. The S$5 portion which I ordered was more than sufficient to feed 2 pax. Pricing structure is S$3, S$5 and S$8.

The char kway teow is very fragrant and cooked with the right amount of heat. It is served with fish cakes, bean sprouts, vegetables and some cockles. Most importantly, the cockles do not have the pungent fishy smell. It is also not very oily unlike some, hence it is healthier. The serving is appropriate too, just nice for the price of $3.
