Due to the location and the particular time/day when we dined, there were not even much people on the road. Initially, there were only us in this restaurant. But I think our presence brought in the crowd as people saw us patronizing this restaurant. Bumbu Restaurant has a nice, simple, clean decor. We ordered the Basil Chicken Tauhu Telok , Black Pepper Beef , Thai Seafood Salad, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Sambal Fish and best of all, free flow rice! The staff were very friendly and attentive. The orders came up fast too!I don't know what came over us. We ordered 6 dishes for only 2 people! Thankfully Ron is a 6 foot tall mobile recycling centre and finished everything I couldn't. Basil Chicken was very flavourful, Tauhu Telok was a little too oily for my liking, Black Pepper Beef opened up the appetite again with its spicy sauces, Thai Seafood Salad is fresh and sour to the right level, Sweet and Sour Pork nailed it for me with its combination of fruits and tender flavoured meat. Most of the dishes were really good, visually appetizing and colourful. We would definitely come back again.Remember to put coupon for your car and be careful of summon officers! continue reading
