I have always been fascinated with the 'black-coloured' kind of buns/burgers and especially love it if its squid-ink flavoured too! Burger King have recently launch this new 'Charcoal Bamboo Burger' which you can choose the filling to be either the beef patty with turkey bacon or the teriyaki chicken. I chose the beef with bacon and look at the size of the patty compared to the burger! After hearing that my sis-in-law prefers Burger King's breakfast to MacDonald's, I was curious and went to try it with my mom! It was our first time having BK's breakfast. I had the Breakfeast platter while my mom ordered the BK French Toast platter. My Breakfeast platter consisted of American cheese, a grilled tomato, a smoked chicken frankfurter, an omelet, hash browns and a croissan'wich bun. The BK French Toast platter consisted of two slices of french toasts, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, grilled tomato and hash browns. Both our platters came with a regular hot coffee. I'm a beef lover so I had ordered the whopper. I love the thick beef patty with plenty of veg and sauces. The meat is so fresh and juicy. The bread was soft too. Though messy to eat.. it is always enjoyable to finish one whopper. With their juicy burgers and low salt fries... I guess burger king is much healthier to eat than other fast food. The Fish burger here is not as delicious as the fish fillet from Mc Donald. I still think the burger buns actually play quite a important row however as they are using the 'standard burger bun' to make their fish burger, this makes the burger taste abit too tough. The deep fried fish patty is also quite hard and not juicy. The mayonise sauce did not taste as good as the normal tartar sauce. There are still lots of rooms for improvement for their fish burger. CROSSAN'WICH with egg and chesse with coffee and tea at only $2.95 to kick the morning blues away. it warms the stomach instanteously. sadly not every outlet has this morning promotion. is only mon -fri exclude public holidays. it's my favourite breakfast.. and i will always head down to tampines to get it when i feel like eating. however i prefer it with apple cranberry juice which only need to top up $1 more! the cosy environment is a bit different from the typical bk outlets.. it's really nice to sit there to have a good breakfast in a slightly dimmer lightings. …Read More
