for photos and more reviews, visit http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com (:starting off with the biggest and bestest, we had the ULTIMATE BREAKFAST ($17). actually this was my least favourite! haha. i didn't really eat much of it. the set includes two eggs (cooked in your preferred style), sausage, bacon, mushrooms, roasted tomato, baked beans, arugula and toast. i was wondering what arugula was, since it was supposedly present in almost all the dishes. realised it was the veggie. haha. it was quite nice i think! the only things i tried from this plate were the mushrooms and the baked beans. loved the mushrooms. seasoned with herbs and black pepper, the mushrooms were as tasty as they smelled i didn't really like the baked beans though. probably because i tasted capsicum in the first mouthful, so it's kinda my biased opinion haha.fluffy pancakes ($13.50)!! haha we are always in search of the best pancakes xD i've no idea what the verdict is anymore. where can you find the best pancakes? please comment and share!! the pancakes here are pretty good. i loved the fluffy texture (yay, it's always good when a dish lives up to its name (: ) i liked the strawberries that came with it too, and there was this cute little honeycomb thingy (which is malt sugar) on top. and the WHIPPED CREAM. omg. it was really goooooooooooooood! light and airy, i couldn't resist it, even though i always try not to eat all this cream and my favourite! eggs benedict ($13.50). seriously. ever since i tried my first eggs benedict last year, i think i've fallen in love with this dish. there is just something so satisfying about nibbling at the toasted english muffin, avoiding the egg at first, enjoying the hollandaise sauce, bacon and ham. then when i can't take it anymore, i prick the lovely wobbly poached egg and all the lovely goodness inside oozes out, and i scramble to mop it all up with the rest of my muffin. absolute heaven )))) continue reading
