Spoilt by the wide spread of breads available on cake history shelves, the pizza ham was randomly chosen during my morning rush. Portion was about palm size filled with stripes of hams, mixed beans, onions with mayonnaise and tomato sauce spread sparingly. Overall taste was towards the salty side, not stomach filling but at least providing some energy to kick start the day. Cost: $ 1.50

Chicken Pie, S$1.40. Well presented with the patch of green English parsley in the center of the bun. Competition is rather fierce in Clementi district especially around the MRT and bus interchange areas and there was no queue to be seen unlike the usual time I have seen it last year.Fillings of the potatoes and chicken are sufficient enough, not too much and not too less, well calculated wrapped in an average fluffiness of the bun. After believing that small bakeries in neighbourhood area can actually sell nice and tasty buns, I decided to try at this Cake History because whenever I pass by there at night time, they are always having offers for all the buns. S$1.00 for a plain waffle over the counter of cake history. Freshly baked upon order, it took me about 5 minutes before getting my "kosong"(empty and without filling) waffle. Although the waffle was hot, the color of the waffle was not baked even, with the edges soggy. Overall the crispiness isnt there. It was not too sweet and perfect quick bite for a breakfast.The price list is stated on the menu printed on the stall front.Their signature waffle flavour.

FoodS$1.50 for my burger as my breakfast. Bun is full of sesame seeds with cheese, deep fried harsh brown and vegetables sandwiched. I have never tired this combination of food before and I find it interesting. It was after 7pm when I reached the mrt station. This is when usually Cake History runs a promotion of having their breads at $1 per bun. There are still quite a wide range of different buns left, but this bun caught my eye as it was a yam filling bun. I havent really seen yam breads around much, hence I got this. This sugar donut is one of my favourite purchase from this bakery shop. Infact for donuts, I still think the taste from here is better as compared to those cafe which purely sell donuts. The portion is quite big and the texture is quite compact on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. It has been deep fried till really nice golden brown colour and the icing sugar topped on it make its appearance looks even more beautiful and appeitizing too. i happened to pass by cake history near the clementi mall. As I was feeling pretty hungry, I decided to buy some snacks to eat. I walked around the shop and decided to grab a sugar donut. Their donut is really soft and fluffy. Despite having sugar topping, it is not too sweet. The donut itself is very fragrant. their donut is larger size than outside donuts so it was pretty filling for me. I ate one and I was full till dinner.

I was in a hurry travelling to meet a client, I happened to spot a Cake History & decided to buy myself something to eat. I looked around and finally picked up a sausage bun. Their breads are soft & tasty. I loved the bun, it was tasty, but a little oily. The sausage too tasted great. I love Cake history.

Even though the shop name is called 'Cake history', I should say I am more fond of their breads than their cakes and pastries. Me and my 3 boys had been to Clementi Library to do some reading and pickup a few books. After spending an hour or so at the library we decided to and go get ourselves something to eat as we were all so hungry. We scanned our Library material and left. I then decided to ask the boys what they would love to eat and they jointly answered Doughnuts. mama bought me their donut for breakfast and it was really blend. although there seem to be a lot of icing sugar on top, the donut still taste very blend, not sweet at all. but i tried their other bread like cheese with ham bun, i think that tasted much better. the most attractive thing about this bakery is the night promotion, they try to clear stock so at night they will sell their bread at $1 each

one of the bakery that i frequent quite often when i went to my girlfriend's home, the breads do not look super appealing but the tastes are ok, not very fantastic but you cannot expect too much from a neighbourhood bakery. but the breads are quite a steal especially at night whereby the breads are selling at one for $1 only. so is good to stock up the bread for next morning breakfast

i was feeling really hungry so i grabbed this yummy looking fish fillet bun on my way to work. the fish fillet is like the normal kind of fish fillet and the bun is like the ordinary bun, however, when you pair them together, topped with chilli sauce and mayo. it taste really good and filling enough to last me till lunch!
