I have heard about the cheap and good western food from char grill bar so I decided to takeaway a packet of char grill chicken chop home. I chose to have french fries and onion rings to be the 2 free sides together with my protein. It was a bad choice because the portion of the onion rings is very little. Anyway, the chicken chop was packed separately from the sauce which I appreciate the thoughts as it will not be messy by the time u bring the food back home. The taste of the chicken chop is good though, and one will not have guess its from a coffee shop western stall. The meat is grilled to perfection and the sauce makes it even tastier. In less than 10mins I polished off the whole packet clean!

Finally a day, I and my colleague decided to try Char Grill...The concept of Char-Grill Bar is strikingly similar to that of Botak Jones and Astons. They all serve western food at reasonably prices.I ordered the recommended char-grilled chicken which costs only $6.90 inclusive of 2 free side dishes, decided to have Fries and baked potato with my chicken. The service was fast received my order within 15 minutes. Topped with a thin layer of savory black pepper sauce, the specialty char-grilled chicken is fleshy and delectable, though the charred aroma could be more distinctive, the fries are tasty while the baked potato is fragrant and flavourful.

One fine afternoon, I had rib eye steak, medium rare for lunch at Char Grill Bar.The sauce had a peppery taste.The steak portion was quite big and worth the price with the various side dishes.I chose baked potato and onion rings,the baked potato tasted great with the butter and it was not too hard or too soft.Its very fragrant, the potato and butter melded together very well.Onion ring was crispy and smelled good. Felt like ordering more onion rings to pack home for snack!!Although they took a long time to serve the food, the taste was definitely worth the wait!Service was satisfying and environment was quite okay. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this meal
