The fried salted bun is a must eat here. The taste is different from other stall. The filling for the fried salted bun is lotus paste. I have yet to find another one with lotus paste. Most of fried salted bun are with the red bean paste. The lotus paste is soft and not too sweet. It is not oily too. It is cheap and nice to eat. Each fried salted bun is only 0.60 cents. Their you tiao is also nice too.

I was looking for some snack to go with my herbal tea, and I happened to crave for you tiao, hence I decided to get one at 60 cents. Although they left a few you tiao out on display, it was still warm and crispy when I ate it, albeit a little too oily (but that's just you tiao). They also sell other fried dough stuff like butterfly, dough with lotus seed paste. Makes a good snack.

I was looking around and looking for a you tiao to go with my porridge. You tiao is a common traditional type of local snacks. I got one from this stall for the first time. I got one for $0.60. The texture was rather fluffy and not as oily as expected. It was served piping hot with a slight crispiness. It goes very well with the porridge. Another good way to eat it is to have it with soya bean milk or soya beancurd.

Butterfly, i wonder hw did a piece of dough can become a butterfly, but it sure is nice and tasty! The butterfly that we bought is cooked perfectly, to golden brown. it is also sprinkled with some sesame seeds, to add to the flavour. best of it, it was freshly cooked, and was piping hot when we ordered. Hence it was super crispy. it only cost 60 cents. However, i found that the butterfly lacked some sugar. abit more sugar added and it would be great. the store also sells the usual hum jin peng,
