Chock full of beans is one of the many cafes in my to-go list and I decided to pay a visit on a Saturday evening as it was pretty near my place. Heard a lot about its latte art and affordable prices but as I had a rather sumptuous dinner at changi village prior, we only ordered some snacks and hot chocolate. Chock Full of Beans ... I've heard so much about it so I just had to go and see what the fuss was all about. So, one Saturday morning, I headed all the way to Changi Village to try their offerings. Take note, I live in the North so it took me more about an hour to get to Changi, plus I had to look for the place under the middday sun...When I found it, I was starving. Ordered the mango and bacon sandwich. I know people go there for the latte art but it was just so sunny to be drinking warm latte.

Went there for a weekend dinner, was relatively easy to find a place. I ordered the Linguine Pesto with Chicken. The food didn't look that appetizing, but it smelt really good. I've always wanted to check out this cafe after seeing so many cute latte art pictures popping up on the internet! One of the more popular/common ones include the Angry Bird! Chock Full of Beans is one of the places my friends love to go for supper/chill-out. Their main attraction is their latte art. We all requested our own characters and got them - mine the pikachu which was absolutely adorable. I had the hot chocolate which costs $5+, it's rich and thick, but in my opinion a very average hot chocolate drink. I tried my friend's hazelnut coffee, which was fragrant and creamy. The nachos served as a good snack, but the cheese wasn't enough; nachos costs around $6+.

There is both seating indoors and outdoors, and parking is ample next door. The only problem is the far flung location in the east of Singapore.it give us a feeling of escaping the crowd in a relaxed cafe atmosphere.My friends and I are a little enthusiastic about coffee. Chock Full of Beans should be on your list if you like coffee and good latte art. So far I think it offers the best latte art around. Having tried their wraps which were awful, I decided to stick to their coffee, which I think was brewed from their own type of grounded coffee beans. Coffee was rich and creamy, but one can easily finish it in a few minutes. Ambience was good as well, good place to chill.

A good place to spend a lazy sunday afternoon with friends or family members. Food n services are thumb up. A great place to celebrate birthday also.
