First time trying this out!Pick this up for our office meeting today It was recommended by my manager that this stall always have a queue for the pastry!Lucky when we got there, there wasn't much of people We bought their muffins (Chocolate Chip, Banana Walnut and Cheese)! The price is quite reasonable for such a big and tasty muffin at just $1.20 each Highly recommend to visit this place for some yummy, bargain deal goodies! continue reading

Hidden in a tucked away hawker centre, Chocolat' N Spice houses one of the best muffins I have ever tried! 3 Reasons why I love Chocolat' N Spice's muffins:1) It is huge!2) It is tasty and has fillings inside3) IT IS CHEAP! ($1.20 - $1.40/muffin)All their muffins are really rich in flavour and are all baked on the spot! The Banana Walnut contains a piece of banana in the very heart of the muffin and it is topped with crunchy walnuts. I really enjoy how they prepare the Chocolate chip and Double-Chocolate muffins whereby the chips aren't the hard ones, but they are melted to perfection like the ones found in chocolate lava cakes. This is a must-buy whenever I pass by Shunfu Mart! But be prepared to expect queues of about 20 mins. The popular flavours like the Double-Chocolate, Chocolate and Banana Walnut are always sold out! Be there early! continue reading

The stall has one of the longest queue over at shunfu mart. The muffins come fresh out of the oven every 20 minutes, and in the event that they run out of the particular popular favor, do ask them when will the next batch be out. It is totally worth waiting for another 10 minute, considering that one might have spent the same amount of time queueing. The banana walnut, double chocolate and cheese muffins are the top 3 choices at all times (for me). Their muffins are moist, and flavorful. Thumbs up! continue reading

Since I was already at Shunfu market, I decided to get the much raved about muffins over at Chocolat N’ Spice. There are a total of 13 varieties of muffins, though some are sold out when I went over that day. I chose three different types to share among the three of us there. I got the Coffee Walnut, Orange-peel and Raisin as well as the Blueberry muffin. Of the lot, I liked the orange-peel and Raisin and raisin best because of the nice contrast of flavours from the orange peel which adds zest to the muffin, while the raisins provide an explosion of sweetness when you bite into them. It is just simply yummy. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable as well, most are priced at $1.20 and only a few are $1.40. continue reading
