So glad that Canteen 2 sells Milkcurd! There are a wide variety of flavours to choose from. I only tried the chocolate milkcurd and it is really delicious! The milkcurd is smooth and silky. It doesn't really melt in my mouth but there is something addictive about it that makes me gulp it down non-stop. My friend tried the honeydew flavour and felt it was average only (tasted kinda syrupy). continue reading

I dropped by Canteen 2's Chomp Chomp Milkcurd Stall for dessert after dinner. There are so many flavours! It's my first time buying milkcurd so I went along with my favourite flavour, Almond! There are 13 other flavours, including Chocolate, Mango, Green Tea, Strawberry, Bandung, Almond, Plain, etc etc. Cannot really remember so many flavours. Each milkcurd is $1.50 regardless of the flavour, toppings additional pricing. Don't need the toppings, really. It's is okay... in my opinion. Not that it's bad, but just normal. The texture is different from lao ban beancurd or those 'new - grainy - smooth' texture beancurds, but just very smooth and silky. It's just like okay only. The almond flavour is quite strong. Which is fine, since I like almond flavour. You should try it if you're in Canteen 2. If not then it's not worth it specially making a trip down to try this. continue reading

I thought this tau huey would be as good as the one from lao ban but apparently not. The shop served other milk curd flavours like green tea, honeydew, strawberry but I chose the original. The texture was too soft and watery. The tau huey also was also a little diluted and the flavour not as rich as what I had expected. I asked the aunty if it was ready to be eaten (thinking perhaps the dessert had not set properly) but she said its suppose to be like that. ): I doubt i would ever order this again but perhaps the other flavours. continue reading

A change to the normal tau huay, this store serves milkcurd in different flavours, including honeydew, chocolate, coffee, mango, chendol. I tried the honeydew flavoured milkcurd which was quite artificially flavoured. The portion given was small but enough for a light dessert for one. The milkcurd was smooth and you could slurp it up from your spoon very easily. continue reading

the milkcurd at ntu canteen 2 is really good. there are different flavours as well! I ordered the chocolate flavor, from picture, it does not look appetizing at all, but in real life, it taste heavenly. The milkcurd is so smooth, the flavor is not too strong, it simply glides down your throat when you eat it. awesome! continue reading
