This is my favorite kway chap stall at Albert Food Centre, opposite the famous Guan Yin Temple. After praying, I went there to get my lunch and expectedly the queue is long. For the sake of good food I shall embrace the queue and waited in line for about 10 minutes. I had the kway chap set which comes in braised items such as eggs, tao kwa, pig large and small intestines and etc. These braised items all tasted very fresh and full of the "lu" (braised) flavor. The FoodI ordered Kway Chap set served with big intestines, braised egg, tau pok and salted vegetables soaked with strong and rich dark soya sauce. I personally like the sauce to be as strong and thick instead of the lightly flavoured sauce from other stalls. The Price
Reasonably priced at $3.00+ onwards

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

The kway chap here is very interesting as lots of generous side dishes are placed on a plate to go along with the thick broad rice noodles soup. The rice noodles are very smooth and easy the chew. The soup base is is filled with very fragrant dark soya sauce flavour and also different types of chinese spices and pork meat sweetness in it. Especially like to eat their small pig intestines and sliced pork belly which are both equallly tender and chewy. The chilli sauce is also slightly sweet and s

I was walking around albert food centre uncertain what to eat. After surveying what most people ate, I decided to try the kway chap from this stall. It turned out pretty good. the kway is very smooth, the entire bowl of kway and soup is not too oily. The gravy for the ingredients is not too salty but very tasty. I like the pig’s intestine, it was cleaned perfectly, not weird smell and it tasted very chewy.

i went to order the kway chap ingredients to share with my girlfriend and to go with my hainanese chicken rice. the portion was reasonable for the price I paid. I like the pig’s intestines. It was cleaned perfectly. It was a little chewy. the tau pok was very juicy and soaked full of the braised gravy. The braised gravy is not too thick, but it is good, very tasty, not too salty, went well with my rice. their chilli is really delicious, on the sourish spicy side.

Bought a one person serving of kway chap for lunch. This kway chap includes pig intestine, pork belly, tao pok, braised egg and added pig skin. Firstly, the tao pok was well cooked, soft and juicy. As for the pig intestine, it was well prepared and cooked, no strong pig smell, soft and tender texture. The pork belly was well braised and marinated, sufficient seasoning and has a spongy texture. The braised egg was a bit overcooked as the outer layer of the egg yolk has already turn grey. The chil

The gravy is also well seasoned, not too salty. Overall, a good kway chap stall offering kway chap at a reasonable price and is a must try.

Not too sure why many people sitting around the stall eat this. Maybe it's because there are not many unoccupied seats left. The chilli is spicy but too watery for me. The tau pok was a bit rough but the intestines were ok. The sauce was not very saltish but the taste was a little bland.
The kway was okay though, along with the soup.
The auntie here is abit bossy also....maybe she had a bad day...oh well, there goes 1 potential customer

Having seen quite a fair bit of queue for this stall the last time I was here, I decided to order from this stall since I was craving for kway chap. The ingredients comprise of egg, pork, fish cakes, tau pok and both the large and small intestines. I rather they gave me the tau kwa which is my favourite rather than so many fishcakes. Anyway, it was very well, perhaps too well marianated, especially the tau pok which had soaked up all the flavours. However, it made me very thirsty after that as well, which proves the point that there is too much salt/msg.

As for the service, it was bad. The stall helper auntie was unhelpful - when I requested for her to take another spoon for me(so that my mother can share the food) while she was going to get change for my $10, she told me to get it myself since I ordered the one person portion and not the two person portion. I understand where she is coming from, but the way she said it and all, it is bad service.
