Coffee from coffee and toast & pancake from a corner coffeshop at boon tat street. Their coffee is slightly better than normal coffee as they brew it slightly thicker to cater to the office people who needs the caffeine badly. while the pancake is unique from other pancake as it has a mixture of redbean and peanut. giving it a nicer taste. Not too bad for a afternoon tea break. continue reading

A simple and refreshing iced milk tea relaxes my mind after a long day just before I head home. Coffee and Toast serves food items like kaya toast, eggs and coffee/tea. I was contemplating between a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee black or a cool and thirst-quenching iced milk tea but I took the latter in the end as Singapore's weather is often so sunny. It’s an ideal spot for resting and chilling out as well as for business talks or tea time. I do wish the interior could be bigger though, to be able to cater to more customers during peak hours. continue reading

Coffee and Toast makes a great chill out place just after lunch! It is usually very pack with people during the lunch crowd, as most people will frock to this small little cafe just round the corner for coffee or tea. It serves as a good place for drinks as well as a chit chat session. The list on the menu goes on to plum lime juice, ice lemon tea, hot or cold drinks, toast bread and more. My favourite has always been the tea with milk, with less sugar added. The aroma of it tastes just right, enabling you to feel the taste of tea after sips of it. Service staff can be quite impatient if you are slow in making your orders during the lunch crowd, as the queue is very long. If you are lucky, you might be able to find hidden seats at the back as they are not easily visible in the huge crowd. continue reading
