We were at Crystal Jade for a casual family dinner. The overall dining experience was pretty pleasant, with good quality of food and attentive servers.Nanjing Style Salted Duck ($9.50++)A simple cold dish to whet our appetites. The duck meat was well braised as it was really soft and tender. The flavours were just right and not too salty. minced pork with spicy sauce served with wrap $12.80 is a unique dish, best to be shared among 4 people. The minced pork gets a little salty if you eat it on its own but is well complemented with the plain wrap. har gow $4.50. The skin gets a little dry if you don't eat it immediately when served and it will be better if it is more moist inside. shrimp wanton soup $10 has fresh shrimp wantons and the soup is lightly flavoured but the taste doesn't really appeal to me.

Crispy eel $11.50 is very crispy but it gets quite gelat even for 2 persons to share. The sauce is also a little salty. Beancurd skinroll with shrimps $6 has a crispy beancurd skin and shrimps are quite fresh too although this dish is oily.la mian $8.30. This bowl of spicy si chuan la mian has minced meat and peanuts in it. I didn't really like the overwhelming taste of the peanut that covered the si chuan's taste. It is spicy but not overwhelming on the tastebuds. The la mian is very smooth too

My family and I went to Crystal Jade for a family dinner and ended up waiting for close to 30 mintues for seats. I think that is partially because we are a big group (8 pax). The pau here is very unique. This pau is not steamed like other paus, instead it is pan fried. This means that the bun is crispy on the base while being soft and fluffy on the upper half. The inside is pork filling which is juicy and succulent with a lot of yummy juice. The pau comes with ginger and vinegar like xiao long bao and you can consume it with the condiments for extra flavour.

Together, me and my other 5 friends ordered the xiao long baos and it was so tasty that we ate at least 5 baskets, one each. I just love the feeling when you sink your teeth into the xiao long bao and the juice in it will came oozing out It tastes even more superb when it was piping hot but be careful not to scald your tongue. I am still amazed by how the juice inside the skin of the bao will not leak out.

As we were craving for some dim sum dishes and was surprise that crystal jade not only have their usual xiao long bao and la mian, they also included some dim sum dishes in their menu. We decided to check that out and ordered my favorite har gow and siew mai. Oh well. Both dim sum tasted very normal and at the price of it selling in the restaurant, I could have something which taste similar at the nearby kopitiam and it's 50% cheaper. As I have a craving to eat at Crystal Jade, went to dine by myself at their Jurong Point outlet and ordered their double boiled chicken soup ($8.80) and Spicy dumplings ($6.90). The double boiled chicken soup was very tasty and I simply love the soup and tender chicken meat. Been going to this outlet for a very long time.Somehow I feel that the Sour and Spicy la mian is exceptionally delicious here, as compared to all the other Crystal Jade outlets.The restaurant is usually packed and sometimes the queue is extra long.Service is good and fast, even during peak periods, which I feel is very important.Food is also reasonably priced!#NTUDAC

Visited Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao on a Saturday evening and there was a looming queue at the entrance of the restaurant. Regardless, props to their highly efficient numbered queue system.We ordered their Zha Jiang Mian as well as their Xiao Long Baos.Their Xiao Long Bao was a tad larger than regular XLBs present in other restaurants but I ain't complaining! Crystal Jade @ JP is our frequent dinner place. We totally love the food there! Everything is nice! Dishes which we usually order:1. Fried Carrot Cake (Note: This is only available before dinner time) - Crispy and fluffy inside. 2. Siew Mai - Big and fresh.3. Hong You Chao Shou (8 pieces dumpling in special chili sauce with vinegar) - Delicious! I like the sour sauce! 4. Fried Beancurd Prawn Wrap ($5.50 for 3 pieces) - Though its a bit expensive, the wrap tasted so good that you will want more!

I like to eat Hongkong's style chee cheong fun.They use soy sauce instead of tomato or chilli sauce.The those chee cheong fun is thinner and smoother.It is translucent so i can see the ingredients inside,it is so attractive.It is really nice to eat,especially with some sambal.The ingredient inside is so juicy.I like it.

The overall dining experience is ok; no wow factor. The ingredients are fresh and up to quality; well they have to be of quality at the slightly hefty price charged.The meat are generally tender and well-marinated..pork belly is the best among all ... Crystal jade's spicy beef noodles is quite famous.It is very tasty, and got savory chilli broth with sliced beef and noodles! The 'dao xiao mian' which means hand cut noodles,it is quite special. The uneven and thicker texture is really nice..!The beef is also very tender.The soup was really tasty, and the spiciness is just right. Crystal jade's zha jiang mian is nice too.The menu stated that it was spicy but it wasn't spicy at all.It was a bit sweet and salty.Not very like it,but it is quite ni
