Delhi restaurant has been Nominated Singapore’s 100 Best Restaurants by Singapore Tatler numerous times. Located in Little India in Singapore, the ambience at Delhi restaurant puts us at ease immediately. Our experience at Delhi Restaurant was nothing short of amazing; our only regret was that we didn’t have enough stomach space to try more of their dishes! We highly recommend trying out all their chicken dishes as all they never failed to wow us with its tenderness. Though Delhi restaurant is managed by Chinese couple Clifford and Diana, the crew behind the kitchen door is made up of authentic Indian chefs, lovely proof that cultural intermingling can produce really great food!Must try Mango Lassi (5.00),Chicken Malai tikka (11.00),Gobhi Manchurian (11.00),Butter chicken (13.00),Bhoona Gosht (12.00) and 1/2 mix grill sizzler (18.00)Please refer to www.ieatandeat.com for details review. continue reading

We went to little India one weekend for an Indian dinner & ended up at Delhi Restaurant, but at their brach at race course road. The ambiance is lovely especially the grand entrance. there were few people dining there at around 10PM. We settled down comfortably & ordered for Chicken dhaniwal Korma, along with stuffed naan & garlic naan. we were first served some crispy fried papad. Then the food arrived. The Chicken is a creamy gravy made of cashew nuts & coriander. It was rich & full of spices & flavors. It really went well with the stuffed naans & garlic naans. The naans were frshly made & was served hot. We finished off with some Mango kulfi which was yummy too. It was topped with tutti frutti which is my favorite. The bill was about 30$. continue reading

Being a Sunday, we decided to go to Mustafa Shopping Center for our groceries and all items. After we were done we went to Delhi Restaurant for lunch. We really like the North Indian food that is served here. After we arrived the waiter gave us the menu and looked through it. The kids said they wanted to have pulav so we ordered Delhi special pulav, Kadai Paneer, Mutton Masala and A garlic and butter naan. For drinks we ordered 2 cokes and a tiger beer. Our drinks were brought to us soon with the beer being nice and chilled. Our food arrived in a short while. The special pulav is yummy since it is cooked with special basmati rice and a secret spice blend which gives it a nice aroma. It is really very healthy too since it contained mushrooms, paneer, green peas, dry fruits and it tasted really good. The kadai panner is nice and creamy and not too spicy and goes well with the garlic naan. While the Mutton masala goes well with the butter naan. The mutton pieces are nice and tender and doesn't stick to the teeth. The gravy is nice and thick and very delicious. continue reading

My wife & I recently went to Delhi Restaurant for dinner & we ordered for our favourite mix grill Sizzler, which we are fans of at Delhi Restaurant. Its a mixture of meats, seafood, eggs & some vegetables. It had chicken, mutton, beef, egg, prawn, fish & some veggies cooked in some spicy red spices. It is served on a sizzler dish, that makes all heads in the restaurant turn to watch . The 1/2 mix sizzler is awesome & is a hearty meal for 2 people. continue reading

Naan sold here is really fluffy and the texture is not too oily and with slight crispyness on the outer surface. Whether you eat it on its own or you eat with the curry chicken, both taste equally nice! The curry gravy is thick and with slight sweetness in it. Glad it is not too spicy, so I can dip my naan as much as I want in it, however do note it is still sinful too. The portion is quite generous and good to satisfy an adult for per portion. Usually their curry chicken is one of their best selling dish so sold out very fast too. continue reading
