I had heavy lunch today so only wanna eat a sandwich for dinner. After walking one round in TM, i decided to settle down at Delifrance and order my past favorite Seafood baguette for dinner. This place is self service like MacDonalds so there is no 10% service charge. Ice water is also free...great, I only need to pay for the sandwich.Seafood baguette $7.50The baguette is soft and had a very crispy crust...the seafood mayo filling is generous too. :)I re-visit Delifrance. As we know that this confectionery offers a variety of concepts and serves a wide range of authentic French treats. This time I buy the Ciabatta, it wraps with 3 square big pieces bread. The texture of the bread is soft.I bring back home and spread with butter and crunch garlics and toast it in the oven. Had breakfast at Delifrance for the first time. The set comes with a baguette, two sausages, sunny side up egg and a cup of coffee. Their breakfast does not look appetising, I think mainly because they did not include any greens in it. This is the orion cake my brother bought back for us to enjoy! There are chocolate pices at the side of the cake and this cake has no whipped cream. It is sort of filled with oreo cream. Its special, isn't it? The oreo cream is layered with cakes. So every bite, you could eat cake and taste the oreo cream. It is like an oreo cake! My friend bought this cake at the delifrance to help me celebrate my birthday! They knew that i liked strawberry so they purposely bought this for me (: The cake was very soft and there are layer of chocolate cream in between the cake. Even though that the cake has quite a lot of chocolate cream, it is not too sweet at all. As for the strawberry, it is very fresh and sweet too. My girl loved the egg mayo sandwich in Delifrance. So we order one egg mayo each and a latte to share. THe egg mayo is slightly cheaper than my usual Tuna sandwich. This bistro delifrance has been renovated for a few times as far as I could remember. Each time, it just looked better and has more a spacious layout.I had a $10 delifrance voucher and the friendly service staff recommended me to take the set meal ($9.90) which had the best value for my voucher. My set meal consisted of the soup of the day (mushroom soup), a sandwich and a drink.The mushroom soup was served with a piece of garlic baguette. It was tasty. I could feel the tiny bites of sliced mushroom in it. The ingredients on my chicken ciabatta were generous. I had 4 thick slices of tomatoes, several pieces of lettuces and good porton of chicken breast. The taste was good and yummy. After a hearty lunch, it's good to have a cup of hot drink and coffee is my usual choice - my all time favourite The coffee tasted normal, it didn't have strong bodied. Was not sure what the bread is named, but I loved it since my parents bought it when I was young;DThe bread is soft and sweet tasted, and it was sprinkled with bits of sugar, completing its taste. It may sounds to be really sweet bread, but it is not. The sweetness was moderate despite having different levels of sweet components.And I really love the way the bread is so soft and puffy^^ I took a bite on one side of the bread and it puffs up back immediately.The feeling of chewing on it was special, and there are mild juices sliding from the surface of the bread when it was placed into my mouth. i love the pastries at delifrance. Whenever we came across a branch, my mother would stop by and get us breakfast. I love their mixed fruit tart. The tart is not too heavy, it has a strong buttery taste. The custard inside has a very milky taste. It is very light and not too sweet. the fruits they use are simply fresh. I believed the croissants are still the best in Delifrance. I loved their croissants so whenever I have the chance, I will order their set which consists of croissant sandwich and coffee or tea.This time round, I had a mix of chicken and tuna for the filling of the croissant. You can actually taste the butter in the croissant which is very fragrant. When you have it with the fillings, it was heavenly. They are very generous with the fillings and it was not too salty. The tuna and chicken flavour can still be tasted. Nice and yummy. The coffee that comes with the set was just normal. Although one would expect this outlet to be crowded but surprising no.
