DeliJoy is a bakery which sells a wide assortment of different kinds of bread. I like their tuna bun the most! It has a very generous filling of tuna which does not have too much mayonnaise, exactly how I like it to be! The bread is also lightly baked, giving it a light golden brown colour which makes it very irresistible.

Most of the store in the food court accepts payment by Nets Flashcard but Deli Joy only accepts if your purchases is at least $3 but there's no sign indications.

Bought a hotdog bun with some pork floss topped on the bun for my teabreak after my lunch at the foodcourt. The hotdog bun was rather fresh and nice. The bread was soft and fresh and the hotdog tasted quite yummy too. It was a rather nice combination with 2 of my favorite food - pork floss and hot dog. Yummy! And the price is rather resonable with their $1 promotion! Hope to try other breads soon.

I went to Toa Payoh to buy Tuesday tea and decided to buy these. Well, the shop is quite un-well located. I didn’t know it was at a food court until I went down to the food court to have a look. Well, I looked around the store and bought the mini cheese buns. It comes in fours. Well, it is very good. The cheese is in the middle of the bun and the bun is really very soft and yummy.

Well I like the raisin buns less than the cheese buns. The inside texture of the raisin buns are a little tougher than the cheese buns. The raisin buns have browner coloured bread than the cheese buns. However, I like the fact that the raisins they use in the raisin buns are different. There is the yellow coloured raisins, the black coloured raisins, the brown coloured raisins and more. The buns is quite sweet too. I recommend this bread if the cheese is unavailable.

My friends and i were at Toa Payoh. We walked around and bought some bread at Delijoy. This is the plastic bag from DeliJoyEach bread cost 1 dollar. Affordable for all ages. However, i feel that the bread taste really normal. The curry buns that i bought doesn't even taste like curry. It taste very artificial at all. But nonetheless, a dollar a bread is really a affordable deal.

Price - $1+ per bun (I would say average price for bread)

Crowd is average, no worries about having to queue at any time of the day. Just be there if you are craving for buns.

Soft and moist texture on the bun when they are freshly brought out of the oven. For the bun / bread lovers.

Attitude of service staff and waiting time for them to pack the bread are ok. Makes a good hunger pang satisfaction for anyone.

They have common flavors like classic hot dog roll and egg mayo to other afternoon tea treats like chocolate muffin and butter cookies. Recently, they have added addition choices like baby cheese bread, baby raisin bread and baby coconut. It comes in a pack of 4 and each bun is approximately comparable to the size of a ping pong ball. I personally like the baby raisin as the dough is soft and light with good juicy raisins.

It's a shame that I have still yet to try the refrigerated cakes on display. I must say, they look really attractive and have caught my attention a couple of times. Wouldn't want to procrastinate any further, will buy them home to share with my family on my next visit!

I always eat the raisin cream cheese buns from Barcook Bakery within minutes of them coming out of the oven 'cos they wonderfully soft when so. Gee I really wonder how these buns will taste when they're freshly baked!

What makes these buns special is how well the flavor of the cream cheese complemented the mild rose fragrance of the bread. Although the amount of cream cheese in this bun was considerably less than that from Barcook's, having too much of it would overwhelm the delicate rose flavor of the bun. I would have liked it even more if the rose fragrance was stronger. The texture of the bun can't beat its pillowy soft cousin at Barcook's, but nevertheless, it was still soft and fluffy, and remained so even the day after.

More bakeries should seriously consider making rose cream cheese buns instead of churning out substandard raisin cream cheese buns.

Coffee Red Bean Bun (i.e. the red bean filling is coffee-flavored). Not too bad but I'll readily swap these for another Rose Cream Cheese Bun.
