Dessert Hut (Closed)

Did not like the dessert here. It was very creamy but there was no real taste. Just a sickening creaminess. It's quite sweet, and I keep waiting for some burst of flavour to happen but nothing happened. There are a few broken small bits of fungus in the thick soup. Perhaps fungus is too delicate to go with such creamy base. I woud not be buying this again. Service is gruff and not very friendly.

I had the mango sago! Its really nice and cooling to have in a hot day! though its more expensive than the other normal shops, its still worth it to invest to having such a nice bowl of mango sago! they have mango cubes in the dessert too. they serve other kinds of desserts too, from hot desserts to drinks like soursop drink which i didn't had a chance to try it yet.

Was here with a friend, decided to catch up and have some dessert to cool ourselves down on a super hot day.We enjoyed the rather cozy and traditional ambience there. I have ordered a chendol. It was not too bad, not too sweet and have a nice gula melaka taste. But one thing to take note, i felt that the portion was a little too small for me. .

During the hot day, it’s good to sit in the dessert house and enjoy cold drinks or dessert. Or you can go for hot stuff like “zi ma hu”, “dao shuan” and etc. Last time the waiter will help you to take orders and collect your payment. But now, they changed the system to self service. You need to approach the counter to make orders and pay first. They will serve your desserts later on. I’ve tried on the egg pudding. It’s looks bigger before and it’s getting smaller now. I can’t taste any other fla
