Getting a right balance of heaty and cooling, we definitely need a bowl of Green Bean for the hot weather at Singapore. This soup is generally eaten chilled or pipping hot, it can be a breakfast, light tea snack or supper. I heard it has many benefits, especially cure and get rid of acne. Queued and waited to be served, all the dessert was ready at the kiosk. Placed my order while immediately paid for it, process was prompt without delay.Having hot sweet soup just after the lunch, feeling was good. Strong Pandan Leaves fragrance, sweetness was all right. Pretty basic soup, the bowl was hearty homely with adding little sago inside. Generous amount of bean, it was thickly filling but not mushy at all. The price was $2.00, portion was huge. continue reading

On a warm evening after having warm dinner, this is a welcomed cooling dish to end our meal. Desserts here are generally priced cheaper than those selling at Foodcourts in shopping malls. This bowl of Cheng teng only cost me $1.50 instead of usual $2.Generous serving of dried longan, barely, fen yuan, white fungus and a few ginko nuts...great value for money. The soup is sweet and light too. A nice alternative to having kopi gao after the meal continue reading

After our lunch at Koufu, we decided to have some cold dessert to end off our meal. We didn’t want ice kachang as we had that too many times, so we ordered the ice jelly cocktail which comes with the jelly as well as diced fruits cocktail like pineapple, pear and even some diced red jelly cubes. This dessert could be made easily at home since the ingredients can be found in supermarkets. We love having the lime taste so we squeezed a lot of the lime into the dessert which made it both tangy and sweet. continue reading

This is my new found favorite at this punggol food court. Despite food court dessert always rated as average only, I've found my liking for the red tea jelly with longan dessert at this stall top notch. Milk is not standard but i would highly recommend it as that's what transform this dessert dish from normal to extraordinary. Priced at $2.50 a bowl, the red tea jelly, tadpoles, milk and ice combination will leave your sweet tooth satisfied that you had a good dessert, it makes up for any average lunch or dinner you just had. Try it now! continue reading

the sweet potato soup served here is totally not the same as in the menu picture. the menu picture was all sweet potato and no logan. but when they served it, it was all dried logan and only a few bits of sweet potato. the sweet potato was hard and dry - probably it has been microwaved and not steamed. it would have been softer if it had been steamed. overall, it is a very bad dish. the soup was too sweet as well. unsatisfying. will not be ordering it again. continue reading
