This is the "Beancurd skin with Ginko Nuts" dessert which is usually serve warm (some shop does have the cold version). It is said to be a dessert to bring down the heaty-ness in a human body. Had this during my visit to Lot one shopping mall as I was feeling tasty and hot due to the weather. This dessert will be a perfect dessert to ease my thirst and bring down my body heat. Was craving for some hot dessert after dinner so my mom and i decided to drop by Lot 1 after visiting my aunt.Located beisde Chewy Junior, this stall might be small, but they serve quite a variety of hot and cold desserts. I ordered a bowl of hot almond cream, which was very smooth and creamy. The almond flavour was not too overpowering, and the sweetness was just right. I end my day 12.12.12 by having desserts with my friends. Sweet it up! Desserts can be have either cold or hot dessert.So,normally greedy people like me will order both hot and cold desserts! haha We ordered strawberry snow ice and also hot desserts which are peanut paste and cheng teng.Normally, I don't like to eat ice or even ice cream eventhough i am a girl >__<But this dessert story snow ice was totally different compare with the ice kacang I normally eat.This snow ice is soft, tasty, sweet and easy melted in the mouth! i was shopping around lot one with my girlfriend when she suggested we da bao desserts back home. I got myself their mango pomelo sago dessert. It was a little on the pricey side but the dessert was pretty good. it was very thick and creamy. the mangoes used were pretty fresh, it was sweetish sourish. They packed the honey for the herbal jelly separately so you can choose how much to add. Their herbal jelly is really good, very smooth, it simply glides down your throat when you eat it. I am a dessert lover so after reading the review here I decided to go and try it. Went to Dessert Bowl last friday the place was pack and noisy. We waited about 20mins for seat. My gf order the Durian Mousse with Black Glutinous Rice it was creamy, smooth and nice there is durian flesh inside too. I have a taste of it and I was quite suprise that the combination of the Black Glutinous Rice with Durian Mousse goes very well thumbs up for this. Went to Dessert Story for a tea break after shopping in Lot One with my friend. I love their selection of desserts - there is so many you can choose frm! Hot or cold, it's your choice. Ordered a Yam Paste (my favourite dessert) and went to find a sit at the back of the stall. The Yam Paste was piping hot, and I could see the smoke rising up. Was surprised to see there were no gingko nuts in my Yam Paste (Had told the staff I didnt want gingko nuts in my Yam Paste and they said I had to remove it myself), the staff had removed them for me. :)The paste was smooth, and sweet enough to my liking. :) Serving is also just nice, like those servings you normally get at restaurants too. i went with my friends to dessert story for some nice dessert. The weather is so unpredictable lately, rain then hot then rain again. It was one of thos hot days so we decided to order their shaved ice. Really refreshing for such an unbearable weather. I love everything in green tea. So of course I had to order their green tea or matcha shaved ice. It came with red bean as well.
