I am always finding "the" chee cheong fun in Singapore. i wanted the taste of Hong Kong, not exactly the same but at least similar. And YESH ! The roll is freshly made on the spot hence you got to wait for a while. I went to a Kopitiam one day & was looking for baus. When I spotted Chee Cheong fun on their menu & I decided to try it out. It is a steamed rice roll, cut into bite size pieces. This one din't have any filling inside. A yummy black soy & chilli sauce was poured on the top of the rolls. It was really yummy. It looked like a healthy meal, since it was not oily & I really enjoyed it since I am a soya sauce fan. The rolls tasted yummy with the sauce. It costed about 2- 3 $ or less & was so filling.

The coffee here is quite thick in flavour and really love those generous amount of condensed milk added to the coffee which make it more fragrant and taste even better. Would be better if the cup used in this stall can be slightly bigger as i think the portion is too little right now. And for the price of one dollars and forthy cents per cup, I think is abit high for a foodcourt hot beverage. Still because of its good taste, I will still be back again for more.

This lotus leaf rice from this dim sum stall is one of my favourite choice of dim sum whenever I visit this stall. The outlook may look plain and unattractive, but if you seriously open it up, you will be surprise on how generous the amount of chicken sliced meat have been provided in it. The chicken meat is tender and very juicy, and love those light salted gravy used in cooking this dish which has really enhance the flavour of it.

Yesterday my wife don't feel well,so we went hougang polyclinic,after that we went to hougang mall for breakfast,We wanna order "har gao" but they don't have,They have quite a lot of item which they don't have,so we ordered the prawn chee chiong fun ,The auntie made in on the spot,so it was quite fresh,but prawns was too small,the light sauces was too blend,abit tasteless ,which we don't really like,but it's quite quiet to dine there in the morning as there's not much people!

I had some siew mai for snacks from the Dim Sum / Drinks stall at Kopitiam. I had 3 pieces which costs $2.40. It was served in a basket which was steaming hot. The siew mai tasted oily and had a smell which was not to my liking. Plus point being the pork was tender which saved the day.

Decided to stopby the food court and get my favourite dessert. Yes,it's the cheng tang. Sipping the cheng tang, immediately refreshed my throat. Plus generous of longan, bailey,bai mu er,a few hong zao and ah gar ah gar strips into the dessert. It's not that sweet and suitable for the health conscious. By the way, I had it hot and really can quest my thirst. Must give it a try )

Was at Hougang Mall doing some last minute shopping and decided to have some dessert since the food court was not crowded.
