My mum and dad went to giant to buy groceries. They da bao back some dim sum from the kopitiam. I was pleased to find my favourite char siew chee cheong fan. The chee chong fan surprising was not too oily. The gravy they topped it with, was sweetish, saltish but more on the sweetish side. The char siew was very lean, did not find any fat meat in side. I love the chee cheong fan, it was very smooth yet chewy. They added a lot of fried onion into the sauce, the fried onion absorbed the sauce and t

The char siew bao was really good, white and fluffy. The char siew was sweetish and went hand in hand with the bao. It was really satisfying. A hearty breakfast.

I had this sudden craving for dim sum as I was deciding what to have for brunch and I decided to order some dim sum dishes. One of it I have ordered is this lotus leave rice with chicken. However after finishing it, it did not satisfy my craving at all. The rice was quite dry and slightly tasteless. The fillings in the middle were not very warm so I think it was not properly warmed up before being served to me. There was not much fillings as well so I was basically eating more of the rice. Hence

my sister and i were craving for some dim sum, but everywhere in imm is so expensive. we were walking around and decided to head to kopitiam to try our luck to see if we can find some reasonably priced dim sum and we actually did. they actually had a dim sum stall at the drinks corner. we ordered their siew mai, glutinous rice and char siew bao. the glutinous rice was wrapped in lotus leaves. it was fragrant. the rice was very soft and sticky. the chicken was quite tasty. we were very satisfied

I was a litle hungry and was just looking for a snack. Felt like eating a big chicken pau, so I went to the Dim Sum stall at the kopitiam. A set of chichen pau and a cup of coffee/tea at $2. Quite a good buy. Unfortunately, there was no hot steamed pau, so the seller took a cold one and placed it on top of one of the steamers. She appeared to be very dissatisfied with the steamer, moving the pau around and finally placed it in the device used for making Chee Chuang Fan. I thought it was going to

She appeared to be very dissatisfied with the steamer, moving the pau around and finally placed it in the device used for making Chee Chuang Fan. I thought it was going to take some time as the pau looked hard.
To my surprised, I was called to collect my pau in a short few minutes. By the look of the pau, I guessed that it was not thoroughly warmed up. True to my observation, it was cold within. I didn't bother to go through the trouble of asking the seller to heat it up again, so I ate it cold. Really awful.

If there's any consolation, it would be that the tea was not bad.
