Economic Fried Meehoon was the very typical local breakfast, I like to have my meal at foodcourt to join the crowd in the early morning. No further luxury ingredients added, what I had was plain fried Singapore style meehoon. It looked a bit dully plain without arrival of darkening sauce, yet it was decently tasty. Meehoon remained springy after fried, nothing beats. Appetizingly spicy after eating along with dried shrimp sambal chilli, portion was satisfying too. Price was definitely affordable, $2.00 for my plate.

Went to the dim sum stall at Toa Payoh HDB to pack a packet of Yuan Yang for supper because I was feeling hungry since I had my dinner early today.
The Yuan Yang displayed on the poster really tempted me to try it, I am a big fan of chee cheong fun and yam cake so I was really excited to eat it after buying it.
The price of a packet of Yuan Yang was only $1.80 by the way.

Surprisingly, when I opened the packet at home, I was really shocked!
The portion of the Yin Yang was really big! I could not believe I can get to have so much of chee cheong fun and yam cakes for only $1.80?!
So I took half of the portion out, to share it with my sister

Anyway, the chee cheong fun's texture was smooth and soft,
And same goes to the yam cake, it was very fragrant, soft and smooth,
Really tasty supper I had!!
The sweet sauce and chilli went very well with the yuan yang,

Very satisfied with this budget meal!!
The aunty serving was very polite and kind. And I did not need to queue to buy their dim sum too!
Shall come back to buy their paus too. They look tasty to meeeee!!!

I would always have craving for certain food especially when it's near the festive season. As dragon boat festival is round the corner, I would see people selling rice dumplings wherever i go. Well, I can help but keep having craving for it. My fav rice dumpling is nonya chang but the bak chang from this stall taste much more better than their nonya chang. My usual style of eating bak chang is to serve it with some sweet sauce and chili sauce. What I love most about this stall is that they will place the sweet sauce and chili sauce on the counter ( yeah... I can help myself with the sauce)

I thought it would be a nice addiction to my lunch but it turned out to be otherwise, it is very disappointing. Though it is called fried prawn dumpling but it has absolutely no prawn taste, it tasted more like fish paste. One good thing is it is not oily so it is still bearable. You might want to try out their other dum sum but forget the fried prawn dumpling. But if you do not mind the extra calories then you might want to give it a try and then decide whether it is nice or not.All the tim sum

All the tim sums are selling at fairly affordable prices.
