The tausar/red bean paste fillings xiaolongbao were intricately made, the folds of the xiaolongbao skin looked very nice. The skin was thin, and i love the red bean paste fillings, they were not too sweet and melted in my mouth.
The waiting time was about 20 minutes during lunch, which was alright for me as i was not in a rush.

Must try this noodle soup or else you will regret it. There's the noodle soup with vegetable pork wanton. The delicious noodle was cooked with wanton in vegetable and pork, it's not so meaty and you can tell the soup stock was not oily. In fact, it was quite plain but I like it that way. You can taste the smooth thin noodles and the flavour of the wantons in vegetables and meat. Really enjoyed this bowl of noodles soup very much cause it will not leave you feeling thirsty or oily.

Went to Din Tai Fung at J8 for dinner. As usual, long queues due to the huge popularity of the company. The redeeming factor is that you get to place your orders first so that you do not need to wait long before you are served when you are seated.Recommended dishes include the xiao long baos and the cold drunken chicken and the beef noodles in soup!Definitely worth the money and time!

Din Tai Fung is famous for their Xiao Long Bao so whenever I am at one of their outlets, I never fail to order their siganture xiao long bao. The meat was thinly wrapped and there was so much juice in each and every single xiao long bao. If it happens that any of the xiao long bao is broken, they will replace it for you free of charge. That is what I call good service. As it was lunch time, the place was already quite crowded. We immediately placed our orders and although the service staff said

As it was lunch time, the place was already quite crowded. We immediately placed our orders and although the service staff said it might take about 20 minutes before our food will be served, our food actually came earlier. The food we had was eally good. Thumbs up.

Ooooh I love xiao long baos. I love how you'd try to burst a little hole in the dough and allow the soup to slowly but preciously ooze out into your mouth, allowing your tongue to capture the whole flavour.Din Tai Fung's is still my number one when it comes to xiao long baos. I don't want to come across as judgemental but when it comes to Chinese food, all these really do feel so superior compared to horribly recooked(actually overnight) cai fan. I'm so glad we could conveniently get such good Chinese food whenever we'd want. Xiao long baos from Din Tai Fung in takeaway boxes do taste good too, when microwave heated up.
