Happened to pass by this place while wandering around Jurong Point. The open restaurant concept they have in this mall is very inviting as compared to its other outlets. Decided to order their Pork Ribs Soup as a very light dinner. Went to this branch for the convenience but not a longer dinner to chat with friends as it is very packed during dinner time. Ding Tai Fung is just so amazing with their food which is of great value. Though the queue during weekends is really long, but if you are okay with sitting outside, the waiting time is about 15 minutes. It was my birthday and my friends and I came to eat at Din Tai Fung Hot & Sour Soup - I was skeptical about this dish at first because of the name. Pork and shrimp wantons soup noodles (~$10)Soup broth was clear and light even though there was a little bit of the ramen noodles "smell" in it. There was a whole shrimp in every wanton and the skin of the wanton was rather thin yet managed to hold the ingredients in it together. I like how it does not taste "floury". Prices are reasonable. Queue can be quite long during dinner time so be sure to arrive early, especially on weekends.

Their xiao long bao is really nice, and the meat taste fresh unlike some others that I tried which is oily and smells unfresh. Always eager to slurp up the soup fillings in the xiao long bao...Actually was highly recommended by my friend for this fried rice but kinda of surprise that fried rice is very tasty & moist...it just seems fresher, the shrimp fried rice is my favourite, the shrimp is fresh & served generously.However the queue and waiting time is quite long.

Ordered one fried rice with egg, one basket of 10 Xiao long bao and a bowl of vermicelli with pork. Not sure what the latter is but it looked really unique when the food came. When i was dining at din tai fung jurong point,I saw tables with basket of xiao long bao and hence i ordered it too.I have high hope for the xiao long bao that i order since it is on the spot/same day made by their chef.The xiao long bao came pipping hot and i was warned by my friend to place the xiao long bao on the spoon to take a small bite on the thin skin first.The soup oozed out and i started drinking the soup.Then i dipped the meat and the thin skin on the black vinegar with ginger slice.

Xiao Long Bao is a must try especially if you are dining in Din Tai Fung for the first time. Din Tai Fung offers one of the best xiao long bao in singapore as compared to other restaurants. The texture of its skin is just nice as it will not break easily and the meat inside is juicy and very fresh. The Xiao Long Baos taste superb when they are dipped in vinegar sauce with ginger!

FoodIt was valentine's day and everywhere was so crowded, especially the restaurants. We can see long snake queues everywhere!
