Brought a set of the dry minced meat u mian together with a cup of tea. Firstly, the noodle was well cooked, soft and chewy texture, not too dry and not stick together. The seasoning of the noodle was also sufficient not too bland or over season and has a mild spicy flavour. This dry minced meat u mian also includes ingredients such as deep fried meat dumpling, vegetables, minced meat, fishball and braised mushroom. The deep fried meat dumpling has a crispy texture and has sufficient fillings. However, the amount of the minced meat given was a bit too little. Overall, just a normal dry minced meat noodle. continue reading

I got myself a cup of hot coffee with milk and sugar for breakfast. It's just a regular drinks stall that can be found at every coffee shop, but the coffee's aroma was good.I didn't get any toast to go with as I wasn't feeling very hungry. Enjoyed my coffee with the fresh morning breeze. continue reading

I rarely ordered minced meat noodle in soup but after hearing pretty good reviews decided to give it a try. The soup is refreshing and sweet, unlike some which has a strong pepper taste. The noodles were well-cooked and were not soggy. It gives a good bite. In the noodles, you can find minced meat, lean meat, lettuce, mushroom and a fried dumpling. The mushroom is good as it adsorbs all the seasoning that was used to cook it in the slow cooker. I ordered the set meal so it comes with a cup of coffee and costs $5. I find the price is on the high side. continue reading

This shop opens 24 hours, a good supper place. I went there at night, and the shop was almost empty. They sell mainly noodles and I ordered the minced meat noodle. I would say that this is one of the better noodles around. The noodle was not soggy, but had a nice biting texture. The sauce was well seasoned and flavored. There were minced meat, fried dumpling, fishball, and sliced mushrooms. Quite a lot of ingredients. The fried dumpling was very crispy, and could maintain it even after a while. Fishball was bouncy and not too tough. You can order the set meal, which comes with a bowl of noodles and a drink (coffee or tea). This shop's entrance is outside the mall, and I guess this is why many people do not come here. There are other items like laksa and satay bee hoon which look quite tempting from the photos. continue reading
