- Ginseng chicken soup, $6.50- The sachet of herbal ingredientsHeard from my friend that this stall is quite famous and popular, so here I am to try it out. The soup comes in an earthen jar and one whole chicken thigh is given within, which is cooked till tender. The soup is pretty tasty, although there's not too much of a ginseng taste to it. Actually, I prefer my ingredients to float around in the soup so I can pick out whatever I like to eat. In this case, you can still tear apart the sachet

- The sachet of herbal ingredients

Heard from my friend that this stall is quite famous and popular, so here I am to try it out. The soup comes in an earthen jar and one whole chicken thigh is given within, which is cooked till tender. The soup is pretty tasty, although there's not too much of a ginseng taste to it. Actually, I prefer my ingredients to float around in the soup so I can pick out whatever I like to eat. In this case, you can still tear apart the sachet to get to the ingredients. The flavoured rice (80 cents) had bits of mushroom and shrimp within and was quite fragrant. You can order side dishes like vegetables to complement your meal too.

Went to try out the Herbal Black Chicken Soup (药材黑鸡汤)from this stall after watching the recommendations on TV, however was slightly disappointed as it doesn't taste as nice as it was describe on the show -meat not as tender.Nevertheless, the soup was not-bad... Just that  I expected more because it was recommended on TV.On the positive side, service was good because the food was served within 3 minutes.

I have long heard this soup restaurant from my dad as he keeps on saying how we should go here and have a taste of this delicious saliva-drooling soup. So when it was his off day, he bought us out for a try of this soup. And it really make our days after trying out the soup from here. The soup was boiled with real ingredients as you can see from the image and it was not diluted at all! Simply great taste. I was in this area to take away my favourite duck rice as well as the old cucumber pork ribs soup from this stall in another coffee shop. They poured it from the jar to those plastic container for taking away. This is one of the cheapest soup there for only $4.50 with an additional of 0.30 cents for taking away. The soup tasted flavorsome from the old cucumber and pork ribs. The old cucumber was soft but not mushy. The pork ribs has got the right softness though a certain part can be a tad toug

I went to take away the soup after buying the duck wings from other coffee shop. I ordered the lotus roots with pork ribs soup at $6.50 to be taken away. I was charged an extra 0.30 cents for taking away. A small packet filled with different types of herbals was found in the soup. The sweet has got a natural sweet taste. The lotus roots and pork ribs have cooked to the nice softness. Another must try is their old cucumber pork ribs at only $4.50.
