I was craving for some traditional snacks and thus got these kueh tutus which cost $2.80 for 5. The kueh tutus are made freshly on the spot. The white exterior is too thick, thus making it rather dry. I tried the coconut and peanut filling. I was craving for some light bites and decided to get the tutu kueh from Eastern Rice Dumpling since it has been quite a while where I had tutu kuehs. I ordered three peanut and two coconut tutu kuehs. The cost for the tutu kueh is $2.50 for 5. I ordered takeaway and to my disappointment, the tutu kuehs stuck on to the pandan leaf of the neighbouring tutu kueh. Moreover, the tutu flour is also tough and the fillings are quite little. I don’t think I will buy it again.

Brought a box of their ang ku kueh which consists of the dou sar and the peanut fillings. The kueh is pretty well made, the skin is not too thick and has a soft and chewy texture. As for the fillings wise, the peanut has a fine texture with sugar added in it. Sweetness wise is not too sweet and is acceptable. Other than ang ku kueh, this stall also sell a variety of other kueh such as the soon kueh and several dumplings as well. Price start from 80 cents for a piece of ang ku kueh and $3.30 for

would not recommend this muah chee although i love this chain for their dumpling and corn and tutu. their muah chee is not very good at all. the peanut is rather soft and soggy. the muah chee is chewy. but overall although it tastes fresh, it's just not fragrant and does not have the traditional muah chee feel and taste. not recommended. the peanut is also not crunchy and not sugary enough. i have to say it's kind of a failed muah chee! there are a lot of better muah chees out there...

They can heat up the dumpling for you when you buy it but it'll be in the microwave. I chose to heat up at home by steaming. When you steam the dumpling you can smell the leaves in the house. It's so fragrant! But the dumpling is very oily. I had to wash my cutlery and plates twice to get rid of the oil! I got the brown rice dumpling, which has glutinous rice mixed into the brown rice so it is still sticky. There is a small piece of mushroom and a whole chestnut in there. There is a big portion

There is a big portion of meat in there as well. Very very tasty and well-balanced and you can't stop eating it once you start. But it is very very oily. Recommended. But it is more expenisve than the advertised price online. When you buy in store it is $2.70 but online it is $2.20.

Eastern Rice Dumplings never fail to impress you! They have a variety range of rice dumplings for you to choose and definitely there will be a few range that suit your taste bud! They also charge reasonablely and only mark up their price during the yearly rice dumpling seasons. Especially love their nyonya dumplings and mini kee chang with bean paste. Two thumbs up! My vedict: 7/10

Eastern rice dumpling have cheap affordable, great tasty dumplings! I had no. 3 dumpling. The glutinous rice is very soft and fragrant. The entire dumpling is marinated in brown sauce. The fillings consist of salted egg yolk, pork, mushroom and chestnut. The meat are very soft and tender. Overall, it is very delicious! A definate must try!
