This Eat. outlet at Bedok is certainly new, cooling and comfortable.  We nice cosy seating and furnishings.  The service is also very friendly and fast as well. Have saw the counter staff cooking the laksa gravy and was craving for it and had bought it to try.  For the price of $4.30, the portion is consider quite reasonable.  However after I have tasted it, I was really disappointed. The laksa gravy is thin and flavourful at all.  It is not spicy and not creamy as well.  The rice noodles are chewy but the beansprouts since to be too little portion inside it.  Tau pok which is the fried bean curd cubes are too dry and hard, taste old.  Only the cockles are fresh but are very small.  Wasn't that impressive.Read More

Not one of the best minced meat noodles around but it is still acceptable and affordable, especially so when one can easily find EAT. in several shopping malls. Had their satay bee hoon previously and it tasted good. I ordered their you mian this time round - had crispy wonton, fish ball, minced pork and mushrooms - portion of ingredients added was alright, and overall noodles quite well cooked.Read More

You may not realize the brand EAT which sells Mee Pok, Satay Bee Hoon & Laksa. They have a few outlets in some shopping malls, quite rapidly growth for a stall that sell noodles. Even though they have expanded, quality of the noodles are well maintain. What's worth to mention is that all of their range of noodles they serve are likable by majority of the population. This particular outlet I visited at Simpang Bedok was very unusual in term of its location. As most of the coffee shops, restaurants or cafes around Simpang Bedok are Halal and cater to Muslims. Location wise, it seems to be in the wrong fit which explain why this outlet does not has the usual crowd. What's special at this outlet is that it is operated 24 hours! So, next time if you are craving for Mee Pok or etc you can come here without battling with the crowd.Fishball Mee PokThe vinegar added wasn't too much but strong enough to smell it before you indulge in it. Mee Pok was nicely blended with the sauce, not to dry - tasty!Fishball SoupTheir fishball was chewy!Although I didn't try their Satay Bee Hoon or Laksa, I saw pretty good reviews on these. I will definitely try it during the next visit!Read More
