The restaurant was located at first floor of the mall, along the eateries stretch. It was one of the brands under creative eateries. The restaurant is offers Taiwanese street food at causal style. The place was decorated with a funky look with colorful signages around.Menu was a colorful booklet with yummy pictures of food in it.At first wanted to order Tainan Coffin Toast 台南官财板 ($10.90++) but it was not available till afternoon. Keelung Night Market Oyster Omelette 基隆庙口夜市蚵仔煎 ($9.90)It was not the gluey oyster omelette topped with red colored sweet sauce which I was expecting. Instead it was like a pancake with crispy top and sticky bottom, served with chilli sauce by the side.Taichung Night Market Vermicelli in 'Dang Gui' Herbal Duck Soup 台中中华夜市富歸鴨肉面線 ($10.50) It looked great when served with the big piece of duck leg. It tasted quite watered down. The duck meat was quite dry too. The soup did not have the strong bitter herbal taste, nor did it have the strong alcohol that was usually associated with the soup.Overall the food was a far cry from the original taiwanese food which I was used to. It was way too bland, and lacking of the traditional cooking style. continue reading
