Full review: http://nkikichua.blogspot.sg/2015/04/eggs-berries-westgate-jurong-singapore.htmlEggs & Berries unveils new mainstays featuring healthier choices (with no added MSG and expect only natural flavourings) and has also expanded their pasta selection for greater indulgence. There is some hit and misses with the new menu but one of my favourite all-day-breakfast dish is Eggs Florentine [$13.90], since eggs are the restaurant’s speciality you can hardly go wrong. Do check out their expanded pasta dishes too! I personally thinks Frutti di Mare (seafood pasta) is not bad at all. Not forgetting their sweets such as Passion Fruit and Banana Soufflé, in my opionion is one of their better dessert thus far. Not so much on the ice cream served with it, you can taste if it's quality ice cream or not.

It's my first time at Westgate and this cafe shined amongst the posh setting of the mall. Flipping through the menu, you will see burgers, pasta and desserts at a reasonable price but for a start, i decided to try the lunch special @$9.90++. This includes a main, a side and greens. To put it plainly, you can get a portion of carbs, a portion of meat and a portion of vegetable of your chioce. The main was nothing special and would have probably tasted better should it have been warmer. The meat is well-marinated but the portion was a little too small with the skin forming most of the volume. However, i must compliment them for the great service. I like how they bow and wear a smile. That is certainly what is lacking in many food chains nowadays. To sum it up, the set was far from worth it. If i were to visit again, i will try the normal menu rather than the special menu.

Went to the 'restaurant' in non-peak hours, at about 3-5pm. no one was in the restaurant but the service crew was somehow very busy cleaning... quite difficult to get their attention. argh.menu was a huge board, difficult to flip. i felt like i was holding a 100-year old book becuase it was so heavy.they offered sugar in many forms.. shows the weightage of sweetness in the 'cafe'. i love sugar cubes!you have to pour out the water and steep the tea bag on your own. they should -1% service charge right? anyway their service was really bad. not sure what they're busy with.. don't even look around!we received our mango tango. supposed to have mango, MACADAMIA NUTS, chocolate chips with rainbow sprinkles topped with whipped cream. we didn't had the macadamia nuts.. apparently, they forgot to put the topping.we told them and she just walked away and came back with a cup of macadamia nuts. my journey to find the nuts resort to dissecting the pancakes:there you go: we poured the nuts in ourselves. it tasted great would try other food items but maybe not at the same store in future.

I did not realise Eggs & Berries sells Breakfast Set cheaper than several fastfood restaurants. Their breakfast set included a main, egg, salad with tea or coffee at $3.90, though for takeaway only, no dine-in option. I ordered the Grilled Chippolata Sausage set. The name of the sausage sounds unique, however I realised it was just normal grilled sausage. The grilled sausage was juicy and slightly peppery. The salad with sour cream tasted fresh and appetising. The poached egg tasted fantastic. There poached egg was coated with fragrant herb and buttery sauce, inside was flowing orange yolk. Overall, the Breakfast set was delicious and affordable, though the portion was slightly small, I could have eaten 2 sets of this breakfast to fill my stomach.

Spent a lovely afternoon tea time at Eggs & Berries with my boyfriend. We ordered the waffle and mango pancakes. Beautiful representation and so instagram worthy. You get to drizzle your prefered sauces - chocolate, maple and strawberry over your desserts. The waffles were topped with a generous amount of fruits and nuts like almonds, macadamia nuts and walnuts. A little dry if you eat without any sauces or whipped cream. Match the waffles with chocolate sauce and it was perfecto! The mango pancake was the seller for me. Layered with whipped cream, mango and pancake. It was visually breath taking and super yummy! Soft fluffy pancake although it was on the thin side but it still manage to absorb the maple syrup. I will be back to try the mains and burgers.
