Tempura vegetables is so japanese look alike dish. They have carrots, lady fingers, onion that was cut into rings, long beans coated with thin batter and well fried. The vast different between the Japanese and thai cuisine is mainly the sweet thai sauce that comes by the side of the tempura.

Phad Thai is my favourite dish out of all I had ordered. It totally win hands down! Not because I'm hungry. Phad thai is sweet and with the lime juice squeeze over the phad thai kicks in well. Stirred altogether with the peanuts and mix well. Well prepared & nicely presentation brings out the authentic taste from a thai cuisine. No doubt about the long queues, yes the food is totally worth waiting for!

Service
Service is great, fast and above average. Though we may not get to hear the thai waitress's english well, we manage to catch some words from her. She is kind and counter offer that we should order a set meal instead of individual dish for some of the dish as it is more valuable and comes with a drink.

Ambience
Extremely noisy during lunch hours. Not much big tables for big group dinning. The furnishings and environment of the restaurant seems homely. There are seating for outdoors as well suitable for smokers and those who can "tahan" the humidity and warmest from our weather. However it is preferred to stay indoors as its air-conditioned and weather is just too hot in Singapore.

Price
Price is very alright and reasonable!

Recommendation / Tips
Be there early to avoid disappointment, preferably before 12pm weekdays. I will definitely make a return trip to try out other dishes!

I travelled past the restaurant several times and always noticed a crowd at the restaurant. The Thai Vegetable Omelette with Spicy Thai Blachan was something unique and interesting which I have not tried before. The omelette unfortunately was too dried to my liking. The spicy blachan definitely gave a kick to the palate. My only ??? was Thai cuisine and blachan, how were they associated?

The Green Chicken Curry was slightly diluted to me. I would have preferred for the curry to be thicker. The chicken meat was also a bit tough although it came in a decent cut.

The Three Flavor Tilapia was huge and full of meat. The chef even debone the meat from the fish bone and cut them into large cube shape. It was easy to eat dipping into the sauce. My confusion was where were the three flavor?

I brought my girlfriend to e-sarn for some delicious thai food. We ordered their green curry chicken, pineapple rice, seafood tom yum soup and mango salad. I don’t really like the chilli oil floating on top of the soup. the spiciness and sourness of the soup was just right. the pineapple rice was very fragrant and tasty. the mango salad was very crunchy. The green curry chicken is the best dish we ordered. The curry was so smooth and the chicken was very tender and juicy.

i am so hooked on to the tom yum soup at e-sarn thai corner. my daddy drove the whole family there for dinner. it was really fulfilling! we ordered a couple of their dishes, namely their tom yum soup, pineapple rice, kang kong and pad thai. the tom yum soup is rather spicy, but i simply love how sour it is. it really hits the spot in the stomach. the ingredients in the soup is very fresh and they are very generous with them.

I used to have a thai classmate that loved to go to another branch of this same restaurant in 6th avenue. Too bad it closes down. Thus, my groups of friends decided to give this branch a try. The best of all is the tom yum soup! It can be considered as our starter dish, as it totally whet our appetite and leave us craving for more. Though the chef caters to the taste of Singaporeans, and it would not be as hot and sour as those that can be found in thailand, the taste is still well above average.

The pineapple rice was a nice change from the normal plain/fried rice offered in chinese restaurants. Beside the pineapple, the floss on top added on to the sweetness of the rice.

To end the meal, i would always go for the mango with sticky rice. It's fruit, but it would not qualify as a healthy, guilt free dessert cause i could taste the coconut all over. Their red rubies are worth a try too with the water chestnut being fresh and crunchy.
