Lunch with classmates and my indo classmate decided to recommend us this place as we cant decide where to eat. So I ordered Ayam Penyet, as recommended by my friend. I would say the portion is just nice for guys but might be alittle too much for ladies. the Chicken thigh was good, the skin/crust of it tasted alittle sweet w salty, texture wise was tender w a little hardness in it. Rice was normal. The chill wise I not sure as I am not really a fan of chilli, however judging from the amount of ch

The chill wise I not sure as I am not really a fan of chilli, however judging from the amount of chilli 2 of my friends ate, i suppose the chilli was good. soup wise, personally i find it weird, prolly its some kind indo cusine to have sweet soup? it tasted sweet and wasnt really hot/warm. hmm not my "kind of soup" i would say.

I never knew this Indonesian café existed in cineleisure until my Indonesian friend suggested having lunch there instead of food court. It was lunch time but surprisingly there weren't many people there, in fact we even found seats and tables for 6 of us. I've never tried Indonesian food before so I ordered the chicken curry ($5.50) as it looks rather appetizing! I don't have a high tolerance for spicy food so I was hoping that it will not be spicy. My curry chicken was served with curry chicken

My curry chicken was served with curry chicken on a little "stove" with fire underneath and also with a plate of rice. The curry chicken was kept warm for the first 10 mins before the fire eventually died out. There's also a small piece of potato and carrot with the curry as well. The potato was abit hard but I let it simmer in the curry for awhile before eating it. There's 2 pieces of chicken and it's more than enough for one person! There was alot of meat!! Oh, and the curry wasn't spicy at all!! There was a nice subtle taste of spiciness to provoke the taste buds. My friends who ate the same set commented that it's good too! The rice also came with a small plate of chilli. Good to try the curry chicken if you're heading there for a meal!

Finally, I successfully persuaded my friend to try this Indonesian special dessert called "Es Teler". If it is translated it will become "Unconcious Ice" lol. I know that it does not make sense at all. Cendol adds up to the milk and many other ingredients such as "tape" and so on.However, at a reasonable price, it tastes pretty nice and quench my thirst even though it is just a dessert. Maybe it was due to the extremely hot weather in Singapore.

Had dinner at Esteller 77 with my girlfriends! Ordered the fried chicken set. The chicken was abit too salty and dry for my liking. It was really quite hard to finish the entire plate if I did not get a drink. could be better improved However, their rice was very fragrant! I love their rice! Very appetizing!
