This Fatman Satay has a long history. In the 80s, my parents would usually brought me to this Old Satay Club to have satay almost every month. And because Fatman Satay was the Stall No.1, we always went to their stall to have a hearty meal.Forward to 2010's, Fatman Satay had already moved to Old Airport Road Food Centre since the Satay Club made way to another developement.My usual order at a satay stall would be beef and mutton. There was generous raw onions give, though I prefered they gave more of cucumbers.The beef satay taste good. The beef meat was minced and there was good amount of spices in the taste. It taste sweet too. The mutton meat was slightly chewy though. The mutton was also minced with same marinate as the beef ones.The peanut sauce was the star of the dish. It had right amount of chopped peanut, chilli paste and chilli oil. Not too spicy or too sweet, just right.Overall, if I was to go Old Airport Road Food Centre again, I would order their satay again.
