Introducing to you cha siew and xio ba rice and cha siew noodles. Very sweet and quite thickly sliced cha siew. Springy noodles, a little too springy so it was a bit rubbery feel. Slightly salty and fatty xio ba but very soft to chew.Generally has a queue - waiting time 15 to 30 minutes.http://phuachiuyen.wordpress.com/2014/03/02/fatty-cheong-abc-brickworks-market-food-centre/

Fatty Cheong is definitely one of the roasted delicacies stall to rave about. I had their charsiew and roasted pork rice for only $3, and the meat serving was very generous. The charsiew were juicy and tender, while the roasted pork skin were crispy. Overall, this dish look like a mess but the gravy definitely goes well with it. I recommend meat lover to give this stall a try.

I don't really frequent this vicinity so when I happened to be here, I Googled what was good at this hawker centre. This stall has received so many thumbs up from netizens so I thought I'll give this a try. We ordered a plate of duck to be shared among 3. I think due to the fact that we didn't request for a specific part of the duck, we got some neck parts which is so not worth it! However, the rest of the duck was alright. The meat was very tender and the gravy really brought out the duck taste

ABC Brickworks Food Centre has a large carpark and many food stalls here to eat from. Fatty Cheong caught our eye and we wanted to order a takeaway for some roasted meats. As the queue was pretty long, I was taking turns to queue and dine with Ron. Because they want to clear the pressure of the queue fast, they would try to rush you into ordering. We quickly ordered: Charsiew, roasted meat, roasted duck. The charsiew/roast meat/roast duck are all very tender and flavourful just like what others say. Except it was a little too oily for my preference.

The FoodI ordered a plate of Roast Duck Rice with Char Siew. The Char Siew slices are very thick and the taste of the Char Siew sauce is nice and sweet. I think it will taste even better if it's slightly charred. As for the Roast Duck, the skin is very fragrant and crispy but the meat is a little too dry. This stall has been featured in numerous television shows and we decided to try it when we are at ABC Brickworks hawker centre. The queue takes around 15 minutes. I ordered a takeaway as the hawker centre is quite crowded and it is very hot outside. Even when I got home, the rice is still warm. For a price of $3, this is definitely worth the money. The char siew is very tender with the bits of fats and the taste is very good as well, not too sweet or salty. I didn't get the uncle to put gravy on

I didn't get the uncle to put gravy on my rice, but just having the chilli mixed with the rice is good enough because their chilli is also done very well. It is a must try if you love char siew!

This stall is highly recommended by a good friend. I came over to take away a roasted duck drumstick. I requested it not to be chopped. The drumstick was rather big in size and reasonably priced at $5.00. It was nicely roasted with a layer of crispy skin with an intense smoky flavor. The meat within tasted succulent and meaty. I would definitely be back to try their roasted pork and their char siew soon. I heard both are equally excellent in taste.

Fatty Cheong store at Blk 6 Jalan Bukit Merah #01-120, ABC Hawker Centre Singapore (near to Ikea Bukit Merah) serves very succulent char siew, roast pork, roast duck and char siew noodles. If you are at ABC, you have to try Fatty Cheong. Fatty Cheong is a roasted meat stall and they have been featured in television before for their char siew. You can choose to have the lean or fatty cuts, but I went for the lean cuts of the char siew. Although it is a lean cut, the char siew remained very tender and it is not tough to bite at all. It is very well charred and it is slightly sweet and savorury all together. There is also some fats on the sides of the char siew which made it slighty

Over at Fatty Cheong's, the char siew is glazed so well. The char siew has a nice smoky flavour and has just the right notes of sweet, unlike the overly sweet mediocre versions. Charred crispy bits also enhance the taste. Most importantly, the meat is sliced thick enough so there is good bite! Fatty Cheong's char siew is just out of this world! I just have to give this man some deserved credit for the good job he has done with the roasted meats. Good food, good value. For $3.00, you get a genero

The roasted meat from this stall is no joke man! Really good! Especially the Char Siew, totally succulent!! I had an unforgettable Char Siew Roast Pork Rice previously, hence returning this time round to try the Wanton Noodles.Fatty certainly did not disappoint! The noodles were so good, is comparable to that in HK!!! Look at the translucent colour of noodles!! The chilli was too spicy for me though, hence I left it at the side of my plate. The wanton was just average to me, and only 2 pieces

The chilli was too spicy for me though, hence I left it at the side of my plate.

The wanton was just average to me, and only 2 pieces were given. If they could throw in another 2 fried ones, it'll be awesome!
(On this note, my friend returned after me with a BIG bowl of wanton! Hahaha!)

Total Cost: Wanton Noodles - $3

Had lunch at Fatty Cheong! Ordered their char siew rice. It was so good! The char siew was lean and there was very few pieces with visible fats. The sauce is so tasty and when it seeps into the rice, it is simply a luxury to enjoy a great lunch in a coffee shop. Yummy! Totally love it!

One of the strongly recommended stalls in this food centre serving one of the best Char Siew and Sio Bak in Singapore. Went to take away a packet of Char Siew and Sio Bak rice for lunch. The only pity gotta be the rice, it was a little meshy. The rice might be in a better state if i have it there. But overall it was still a satisfying meal. The portion given for both meats was indeed a generous one.

If you are looking for good Char Siew and Sio Bak then you gotta give this stall a try!
