This is after mixing. There were 2 steamed wantons, 2 fried wantons, char siew and vegetables. I prefer the egg noodles with plain sauce compared to the dark sauce ones. As I have a low tolerance for chilli, I requested for it to be served separately, otherwise they will just put it on your spoon. The chilli was not too spicy and I mixed it together with the noodles if not it would be kinda bland. I wonder what's the hype about this wanton mee stall as the ingredients were all really average and the wantons were so small! Also, the texture of the noodles were a little on the hard side.
There is actually another Fei Fei Wanton Noodle stall opposite and I'll give that a try the next time I'm around the area.

I come here time and time again for their Wanton Noodles because the noodles are so unique I haven't really tasted anything like it anywhere else. My basic requirements for any restaurants/food stalls etc is consistency, and this place never failed so far. The noodles has a nice smooth texture and taste, mix it with the home made chilli for that kick in your tummy. Unfortunately, the fried Yong Tau Foo was literally dripping with oil and has a 'OLD' oil taste; appearance wasn't really appetizing

To get here easily you would probably need to live in the area or have your own transport. It's quite ulu if you are walking in.

This is one of the food stall which I do not really mind to queue for more than twenty minutes just for a bowl of their signature wanton noodles. The stall owner is friendly and their noodles is simply soo delicious that everyone is craving for it. Very chewy noodles tossed together with their secret recipe chilli paste that make it very tasty. The wantons are also smooth and juicy too.

The Service
Waiting time still acceptable as the food is served within 15mins.

The Ambience
Although the stall is in a coffeeshop, i find that the place was well-ventilated and not stuffy hence still acceptable

The Price
Reasonably priced at $3 onwards per plate for decent portion.

Overall
I will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

Hidden in the area of joochiat is Fei Fei Wanton mee, there's 2 branches here within 1km radius so don't get confused. the wanton mee is handmade and different from the usual dark sauce coloured ones you see. this one is light coloured and usually with chilli (or unless ketchup request) sauce. meat balls were a little dry. but paired well if you dip them in sauces.

The rest of it were okay, just again, oily.

I'm only here for the once in a while craving for something different but just not a fan of the oil.

Fei Fei Wanton Mee used to be good. As in really good. However, the standards have dropped, or more accurately, been dropping since 2 years ago.Being 24 hours makes them the place of choice for many night owls, and since there's ample parking, you'll find a lot of foodies and pub crawlers there after 2am. to order a bigger bowl. The wantans are a little too salty and small and the char siew sliced too thinly to appreciate. Their chicken leg noodles on the other hand, is nice and the gravy it comes with is tasty. That's the only thing I have now when I do go.

We ordered 2 bowls of Wanton Mee (dry) and a bowl of Dumpling Soup. It was served to us within 10 minutes. Fei Fei Wanton Mee does not come with soup unless you order a bowl of Dumpling or Wanton Soup.

Ingredients such as char siew, wantons and vegetables are hidden underneath the noodles.

So what is so special about the wanton mee? The difference is the noodle / mee kia and wantons! Each strand of mee kia is smooth, thin with fragrant of egg flavour. It was cooked under high heat to ensure that the noodles are soft, yet spring without breaking apart. The spicy chilli sauce added flavour to the noodle. I really enjoyed the noodles! (now I know why everyone is raving about this) The wantons are filled with minced pork seasoned with whitebait, pepper and sesame oil. The down side is that the wantons are too small.

We made the right decision ordering the Dumpling Soup. 6 pieces of big dumplings. Each piece was filled with minced pork seasoned with whitebait, pepper and sesame oil, prawn and spring onions! The skin of the dumplings were smooth and thin! The dumplings were delicious!

Overall, I like my Fei Fei Wanton Mee experience. The noodles / mee kia and the dumplings are fantastic! Wish that they open one at the north instead of having both outlets side by side along Joo Chiat Place.

I had the meatball noodles instead of the fame wanton noodles as I wanted to try the meatball and see how it compares against the charsiew noodles. Unfortunately the meatballs were too dry and tough.

This is my first time trying fei fei wanton mee apart from the usual pontian wanton mee. I ordered the dry one to taste their authentic taste. However, it was quite a disappointment. The noodle is not chewy and yummy and it is quite oily though even without the addition of their chill. Moreover, their portion seems to be a bit small.

I had the Wanton Mee ($3.50 small) with chilli sauce. Although the bowl of wanton mee looked plain when served, if you dig in and gave it a toss you will find all the ingredients hidden inside. If you can't take spice, you can ask for either ketchup or dark sauce.

For me the highlight was neither the wanton nor char siew. It is the egg noodles. It is thicker and softer in texture. Although it is not handmade any more, it is still pretty good.

The Wanton Soup ($4.50) has nothing much to shout about. The wanton skin was thin and smooth but I felt that the fillings was not up to my expectation. I had better elsewhere.

The noodles are fresh and chewy, wonton is flavourful, but the serving is small. We also find it quite pricey - $3.50 for small bowl which only comes with 2 wonton. We also tried the dumpling soup, each dumpling is filled with minced meat and prawn, tasted fresh and flavourful. Overall we enjoyed the food but find it slightly pricey considering it is located at a coffeeshop premise.

I still remember that we have supper together with Bryan and Melissa. We were at Bryan's house at Marina Parade. We felt hungry and decided o go supper, Bryan suggested to go fei fei wanton noodles at joo chia. We drive to the coffeeshop, parking seems to be a problem, we end up parking illegally. Noodles taste not too bad just that i find the portion a bit small. Anyway it is supper, i also don't want to eat more to put on more weight.
