Signature Dishes
Was having lunch at Pasir Panjang we tried the Famous Curry Rice. Pork Chop is a must have for any hainanese curry rice, their hand breaded pork chop is crispy and scrumptious (we order additional after the 1st plate).Cabbage was flavoursome but too soft and mushy for my liking. Fried eggs was oily, overcooked and cold. The fluffy rice is drowning in a pool of rich, savoury and mild curry gravy. Would go back for the pork chops again.

FoodAs usual the rice portion is enormous for a lady and the color of the rice together with the gravy has gained one's attraction and appetite!Order a big plate of braised cabbage, soft & sweet as usual. Together with the vermicelli, everything makes it easy to swallow down the throat.Ordered 2 Sotongs! Braised pork is quite fatty but it is very soft till the extend that it can be easily separated from the dish.Fish cake is good. It has the bouncy tenderness when you bite on it!This is a must order from the stall as having hainanese curry rice just alone arent perfect without the fried pork chop. Cripsy deep fried lean meat and piping hot from the wok!The fried egg is always oily. However fried egg onion tastes good!ServiceService is good, even though we are sitting at another side of the hawker, they really make an effort to send all the way to our seats with a smile!AmbienceThe food centre has two parts and usually it is difficult to get seats nearer to the Hainanese Curry Rice as it is always pack. Since the other side has lesser stalls operating during the day. We had chosen to sit that side as it is difficult to find seats for 7.PricePricing is competitive comparing its portion! It is far more reasonable than those well known in the market.Recommendation / TipsLong queues are seen, faster queue up and enjoy the food

I went to Pasir Panjang Food Centre for a late lunch around 3pm and all of the stalls I usually eat at were closed, so I decided to try this one. I ordered rice with breaded pork cutlet and cabbage. It certainly wasn't a very pretty meal, but it tasted really good! The pork was crisp and well-seasoned, and would have been delicious even without the curry. The braised cabbage was really good too and practically melted in my mouth. For $2.50 not only was it delicious but the portion was so big I couldn't finish it. What more could you ask for?
