Maghribi Chicken w Olive RiceDecided to give Fig & Olive another try after the lousy pasta. This time, I ordered a rice dish and was pleasantly surprised. The rice reminded me of briyani, probably because of the spices they used to cook it. The chicken was grilled and covered in a sauce that tasted alot like BBQ sauce. Taste Test: 9/10

I ordered the Chicken Pesto Carbonara ($16.1). The food comes in three portions on the plate. The baked potato cilantro is topped with sour cream; the main part is the Herb grilled chicken that topped with tomato sauce and melted cheese.The chicken is marinated Ok, tastes not bad too. However the pasta carbonara doesn't taste too delicious. The cream sauce is too heavy.

It was my first time here at Fig & Olive and I took quite long in deciding what to order. In the end, I decided to order the clam aglio olio pasta, since I saw the waitress taking it out to serve another customer beside my table, and I was enticed by the appearance of the pasta. When it arrived, first impression is that it smelt really nice. The pasta is not over cooked so it is not soggy and it is very delicious. The clams are very fresh as well and are quite juicy. Whoever not eaten at “Fig & Olive” at Vivo City, I would advise you not to try out there. Their service really pissed me off. It was our first visit, me and my husband ordered a set – beef sirloin that comes with a drink and a scoop of ice cream ($19.90) and an a-la-carte lamb with olive ($26+). Rather quick, they served the ‘lamb’, it did not look like lamb though, that piece of meat without bone was covered up with thick sauce. my friend and i had lunch at this place.. this round we tried their spaghetti ..one plate was with tomato chicken served with pototoes.. and cream sauce spaghetti.. taste was ok..another was chicken with brown sauce.. with tomato spaghetti which looks nicer to me..overall taste ok.. good to try during their 1for1 promotion

I went to Vivo City after project work tonight to have a dinner with my friends.We went for a trial to Fig & Olive. I picked the table at the middle facing the bar. I ordered the Seafood Carbonara. I am quite surprised that my soup and pasta came within 5 mins. However, that's just the beginning of my nightmare, soup is super salty and the pasta was not hot at all as if it is not being cooked. After all the shopping and walking around vivo with my parents,we were sooo hungry and decided to go to Fig & Olive for dinner..I've been there quite a few times and thought the food there is pretty good so I brought my parents there..I ordered the Maghribi Chicken with Olive Rice. If you are vivo, you might consider going to Fig & olive!Maghribi Chicken w Olive Rice!Meal concept is simple but maybe not be enough for big eater out there.

Fig & Olive's spicy tuna pasta is way below average!!Even my home cooked pasta is many times nicer than it!Very disappointing meal!Please do not patronize Fig & Olive at all,if not,eat at your own risk and disappointment.The pasta doesn't look appealing or appetizing at all. And the portion is quite small also which doesn't fill your stomach.
