FoodTrawler Catch of the Day - 29.95There a number of fishes depending on the catch of the day and customers can have the choice of how it is being cooked being Pan-Seared, Baked, Steamed, Char-Grilled, Battered or Crumbed. I always feel happy patronizing here as i feel so pampered by these great food. Each time I come, they have a different catch of a day.I happened to order the Pan Seared Snapper with Starch. I felt that every dish that they cook, the chef must have spent alot of efforts in eat. The pan seared snapper is well cook, even the greens blends in well with it sauces. The greens are not standard on every plate. Look over at my partner's or other table meal, their greens are of different kind. Some are vegetables leaves and some are cauliflower, broccoli etc.House Fish & Chips served with Mixed Greens - $18.95This should be the "must-eat" for every first timer as the menu mentioned "House Fish & Chips".Well battered fish with chips. Look at it's color. Golden Brown! Portion is good enough for a food goer like me.Swordfish Belly Sashimi (Mekajiki) - $18.95I will not forget about my favourite mekajiki during my fishy experience every time I visit this shop. The Swordfish belly is the best i have eaten so far in singapore. Ice-Cooling feeling when it entered the mouth. I love its chewiness together with a bit of spiciness wasabi. Ha! I still find it weird to use chopsticks in a bistro.ServiceService is good. Waitress/waiter actually are expressive and can explain the kind of fishes well when we order the catch of the day and usually I do ask them to recommend the method of cooking. AmbienceThere are two dinning areas. One is at the back area in the fish market and the other is the bistro.Both places are crowded. The bistro area is usually more crowded and noisy. This restaurant was recommended by my ex-colleague. My hubby and i try to figure out where was the place, as it was near to all landed house area. At last we managed to find the place, due to its was at night and raining, the carpark lot was full. At last we still able to have our dinner and enjoy the atmosphere there. Fish & Chip is one of their main course recommendation
