A very common hawker dish yet it was hard to meet fantastic level always, I found the one recently. Chinese food stalls were my choice, I opted for healthier soupy meal. Hua Zai offered only Fishball and Minced Noodles, of course Kway Teow, Meehoon, Yee Mee and Mee Sua were allowed to be chosen. As I wished, I ordered Kway Teow in soup. Fishballs were firm to bite and with springy texture, obviously fresh cooked. Flavourful minced pork was marinated before, it made the soup tasty but not too salty. Kway Teow was thinner version, not over-cooked. I added some chilli paddy while eating, overall was decent. Generous portion was priced at only $3.00, inexpensive indeed.

Bgain 727 Eating House is a good alternative place for dining apart from the near by west coast hawker centre (west coast square). One good thing I like about dining here is that the place was rather airy and we wont reek of the food smell after having a meal. Moreover, the price of Fishball Noodle and quantity was better. When the amount of Mee Pok given was more than what we got in the hawker centre and the cost was relatively cheaper. When the amount of Mee Pok given was more than what we got in the hawker centre and the cost was relatively cheaper. It comes with slices of fish cake, 2 fishballs, 1 meatball and minced meat soaked in chilli sauce topped over the bowl of yellow flat noodles (mee pok). As usual, I had my "dose" of spring onions all over the bowl of noodles and soup.

Do take note of long queues during lunch hours and condiments are self-service, so as serving the food.
