Four leaves is a bakery which specialises in bread and cakes. They sell a wide variety of cakes ranging from classic ones to cartoon cakes, catering to people of all ages. I bought the Coco exotic cake (15cm by 15cm) for $28. It is the smallest size and if you would like to order a cake for up to 10 pax, it will be good to order in advance as some outlets will only have the average cake size on display. This cake is for chocoholics, filled generously with light chocolate mousse and crunchy hazelnut flakes. It looks beautiful too, with nice decorations on top. I personally love it as it is not very rich, incredibly soft and moist with delicious hazelnut toppings too This cake is great to share for approx 5-6 people   continue reading

Well, I am helping my friend to celebrate her 20th birthday and I bought her a small cake and another for me (because the big ones are too big for the both of us)! Well, I had chosen four leaves, mainly because many had recommended this brand to me! Usually, I will choose their strawberry shortcake which is tested and proven nice, but my friend is not a fan of berries. So I chose a chocolate cake for her instead! It costs $3.50 each, packed in a very nice box and with a spoon in it! I love the thick dark chocolate taste and the softness of the cake! Not creamy and not too sweet! Each slice was design with a berry and some chocolate, simple yet elegant! continue reading

Mini shredded chicken and mushroom bun! $0.80 each.Look at this cute little bun it is categorized as a mini item in Four Leaves! I think it is for kids or for women afraid of getting weight alternative bread choice for them. The top of the mini bun are mayonnaise to make it more appealing. Within it is a tasty wonderland with chicken and mushroom! The mushroom did not overpower the chicken. The chicken inside are soft and smooth Good job to Four Leaves for bringing quality breads ! continue reading

FoodFour leaves mini breads is one of my common choice for my weekdays breakfast. I find that it is an innovative idea to create buns in mini sizes so that customers like me can enjoy 3 types of bread at one go without filling the stomach up in a short time. Besides that, it is so small that can be easily munch on the go during my way to work. There is a recent increase in pricing from 3 for $1.95 to $2.20 but it never stop me from buying.Four leaves plastic bag comes in green, logo printed exactly with 4 leaves as the name suggest.Mini Sesami bread with luncheon meat. Only realised that portion of the small luncheon meat remains at the bottom of the plastic bag while I'm eating. Chicken Hotdog bread that was bite off by me. Love the chicken hotdog taste. These 3 buns are individually packedServiceOn a average side. Queues are cleared fast.AmbienceThe shop is rather squeezy and have limited walkways, usually the long queues will block shoppers who are selecting the bread. So be careful not to topple off your trays. continue reading

One of my favourite cake shops is Four Leaves, especially the Jurong Point branch. It is always open till late, like nearly 10pm - best for last minute cake decisions! When the entire mall is closed, Four Leaves will still be open. Moreover, the aunties selling the cakes are always very accommodating for last minute cake buying, because they will go to their fridge at the back to take it out. One of my favourite flavours is this chocolate cake, especially the juicy fruity round bits as the toppings. It is my favourite part of the cake, and my friends all agree with me! The rest of the cake is also much of the real deal, unlike many cakes full of whipped cream. The whole thing is very chocolatey and very indulging. This one is $42, quite expensive though.Four Leaves also has another flavour, the strawberry one, which is not as nice as this one. That one is filled with whipped cream and too sweet for me. continue reading
