Eat out at foodcourt, it has many choices for my liking. Opted for soupy lunch today, I ordered from homely friendly Fish Soup stall. It provided handmade noodles as well, staff was willing to help and recommended Mee Hoon Kway while I was there. Self-service basis, the waiting time was around 5 minutes. It was known as Hand-pulled noodles sometimes, different thickness and different shape. Cooked bowl by bowl per serving at a time, pieces were definitely tasted well. I am the big fan for this humble hearty dish, nothing luxury inside but warmth. The portion was huge enough and filling, the price was $4.00.

This is the Fresh Sliced Fish Ee Mian. I like ee mian but this one was a little undercooked so it was slightly hard. The fish was fresh and I like how smooth it was. I found the portion of fish to be pretty good as there were about 6-7 slices of fish. Portion of noodles were just nice for me. Even though it was slightly hard, I could finish all the noodles. I like the soup as it was not too salty. For a hint of spiciness, I added some chili padi in the soup. Yum!

Decided to go for the fish soup with rice for lunch at koufu. Firstly, the fish was fresh and well cooked, soft and tender texture and the size of the sliced fish is also quite big. Other than the fish, other ingredients that was added in this bowl of fish soup includes tomato, cubed tofu, vegetables and garnish such as the ikan bills and deep fried onion. As for the soup wise, it has a nice aroma, mild sweet and goes well with the rice.

This is really yummy though it cost $5.50 for a plate of ten but i can never resist the temptation of Guo Tie (pot stickers). this is one of the nicer ones i have eaten. their guo tie is not like those traditional one which are pan fried and have a smooth skin with a mildly charred bottom. this one is deep fried completely. but the filling is seriously good. a word of caution, it is very juicy so be careful when you take a bite, the juice will squirt out. it is just so juicy. dipped in vinegar and it is just so good. i finished the plate of ten for my dinner. yums!

Brought a bowl of the you mian from this stall at kou foo. I was quite impress by the speed that they prepared this bowl of you mian in about less than 5 minutes time. The soup base is well boiled and seasoned and has a light ikan bills fragrance. As for the noodle, it has a soft and QQ texture and would prefer it to be cook for a bit longer time. Ingredients such as the vegetable and the minced pork are well cooked, but given in a small portion. Overall, quite a normal you mian, taste wise is acceptable and it cost $3.30 per bowl.
