The FoodI ordered a plate of Roast Pork with Char Siew Rice. The Roast Pork is simply awesome as the skin is very crispy on the outside and the meat is juicy and tender. The layer of fats seems to dissolve in my mouth yet I dun feel is too oily. As for the Char Siew is also very tender and has been roasted till it's slightly charred with the meat well marinated with the thick char siew sauce. The rice is fragrant and soft and goes very well with the tasty braised sauce. The PriceReasonably priced at $3.50 hence worth for money OverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this! continue reading

This stall has the longest queue on a quiet Saturday. I know this is a popular stall but never did i expect the stall to be this long. I queued up and waited for 15 minutes to order my plate of roasted meat and char siew rice. The portion of both meats given was quite generous. Both meats have got an outstanding taste. If i have to choose then i still prefer the roasted meat a bit more. I love the crispiness of its skin with its tender meat. continue reading

I was there for lunch and never did i expect the queue for this famous roasted meat stall can be that long. I counted. There was 18 people in the queue. I waited for 20 minutes before to be my turn. I ordered roast pork and char siew rice. I asked for extra braised sauce for the rice. I prefer the roast pork to the char siew. The roast pork tasted well-seasoned with a crispy skin. Its meat remained as tender and nice. continue reading

The boss of the stall was an ex-taxi driver who loves food and decided open a Char Siew and Sio Bak(Roasted Pork) stall for his passion and love on eating his favourite Char Siew and Sio Bak. The Char Siew at this stall is not those usual "Reddish Brown" coloured but rather light and natural in with a layer of honey glaze and tender and juicy meat. For me, I prefer their Sio Bak over Char Siew as I love it's crispy skin(on top) with the soft texture from the meat that infuse with a light fragrant of spices which makes it that goes well with white steamed rice. continue reading

This stall has a queue from breakfast to lunch to dinner time. I decided to buy a bowl of wanton mee (dry) for breakfast in the morning as I have heard many praises of this stall. The noodles were al dente and beautifully integrated with the gravy, fat juicy wantons were laid on top of the noodles. The chilli sauce was piquant but not blow your socks off. Also, the soup came on the side, not too salty..just right. I truly recommend this place..their charsiew rice is also very nice! continue reading
