This stall is pretty much a Tze Char stall. The hype of it is its Curry Chicken. Yet, I'm a spoiler. I went for its Black Pepper Chicken Set. Food was prepared very quickly. I was given an option to add an egg, and I did. Bad choice. I barely see the yolk in the egg. I was expecting a sunny-side up! Nonetheless, the chicken was very tasty. The black pepper taste was present, yet not overbearing till it numbs my tongue. There were lots of sliced onions in it (you know what onions do, do

(you know what onions do, don't you?
). The soup was bland, but I drank it anyway (I was thirsty!).

All in all, I'd say it's passable. At least, I'm full after eating it. Drop the egg option if you're ordering, and it'll cost you $6.80. With the egg - $7.50 (lousy egg cost 70 cents!).

Once the Korean stall starts offering Black Pepper Chicken Teppanyaki, I'd drop this stall. Haha!
By the way, I glanced to its right and the teppanyaki stall offers Black Pepper Chicken Teppanyaki, but nobody's ordering from that stall...

After some intensive and impromptu dinner marathon session at Star Vista, my buddy continued suggesting taking a walk around The Kitchen foodcourt just to 'food window shop'. I found him ridiculous but agreed anyway and gosh, we ended up getting something again! There's this particular stall that's very unique from the rest with showing a section of interesting plastic food models along with different awards and prizes and some media coverage information. Apparently it's selling the famous Bisha

Apparently it's selling the famous Bishan Curry Chicken ($5.50) which is on a promotional price down from the original $5.90. Business seems to be better here than the other stalls. The curry I received was served hot in its thick consistency, it is spicy but the spicyness level did not overpower the delicious curry flavour. The chicken was presented in generous large portions for its price and cooked to tender perfection that's easily removable from the bone. The potatoes were also amazing and have totally absorbed the curry down to its core.

The rice was also served warm in a good generous portion enough to be fairly ratio with the curry chicken. The two compliments really well and the rice did help to level down the spicyness.

This dish is one of the reasons why I'm a huge fan of curry.

I have not tried the original "Bishan's best curry chicken" as advertised at this stall before. However, since there's an ongoing promotion - $5.50 (original price $5.90) for the set, I decided to give it a try. Well, the taste is rather homely but then it's kinda one-dimensional, with no special taste to it. The chicken given was quite a large serving, but the meat is rather "old", though it has been cooked till it comes off the bones easily...but still, the meat texture itself is dry. So, will

So, will not actually recommend the curry chicken here, even though interestingly enough business here seems pretty good.
