Some of us had been wanting to try Fullhouse Signature since it opened some time ago. We had a good dining experience at the former Fullhouse @Rendezvous Hotel and wanted to see if this new themed restaurant can deliver that same experience. The restaurant is located at level 2 of Block 3A, at the pink color section. The lift lobby and staircase to level 2 is kinda hard to find for first time visitors. Do look out for this entrance at the blue color section just a few steps after Tomo Izakaya. The less impressive entrance without the colorful Mini Cooper.A photo taking corner with the 'T' family backdrop and stuffs to hold for group photos. The 'Living Room' dining area which looks kinda empty. The same sort of Victorian inspired decor can be found here but with much less 'homely' layout as compared to the former Fullhouse which has a more complete 'Dream House' setting with Bedroom & wardrobe area, Balcony area, Reading Room area, Kitchen & Dining Room etc.The other half of the restaurant is the 'Garden' area which had been reserved for a private party event, so we're confined to the Living room only...bummer.Some cute looking merchandise on sale at the corners of the Living room. The menu which has an extensive selection of starters/appetizers, main courses, desserts and drinks. Prices are leaning on the steep side.As usual, we ordered several appetizers for sharing and one main course each.Golden Crab Meatballs $11++, served with a cream cheese dip along with an eye catching presentation. The crab balls were delicious, with a nice and crispy breaded coating, packed with savory crab meat filling. Not the best I've eaten but this will be the best dish I had for the night.Deep Fried Calamari w/ Wasabi Mayo dip $12++. This was just so so only, nothing to shout about.Salmon Sashimi Wrap w/ 'Alaska Crab Meat' $18++, this should have been Salmon wrap w/ crab stick instead...I seriously doubt that those crab sticks were from Alaska! This tasted ok, the salmon was rather fresh and the mayo and flying fish roe topping was good as well. However, the hard boiled egg at the bottom was bland...it was either under-seasoned or not seasoned at all. I would save the $18 for something else.Crunchy Cheese Sticks $11++, had a nice plating with a unique looking giant spoon. Feedback from cheese lovers were mostly positive for this dish.My choice of main course, Seafood Paradise w/ Mango Cream sauce $39++. This was my biggest mistake of the night. The slipper lobster was tiny and the 'tiger prawns' were even tinier. The scallops and mussels was of decent size but were not really very fresh. Mango cream sauce was overly sweet and the mashed potato was tasteless...definitely not worth its $39 price tag!My friend's Organic Beef Tenderloin $49++, no complains from her.Fullhouse Club Sandwich $21++, my friend's little girl had this and she seemed to enjoyed it, so I reckon its not bad. But visually, the serving portion was lacking for a $20+ dollars dish.My drink, Watermelon Lychee juice $7++, my best order of the day. The fresh squeezed watermelon was sweet and refreshing with hints of lychee flavor...slurp!My friend's complimentary Champagne, the restaurant manager had offered this to her for finding broken glass bits in her Mojito...she almost swallowed the glass bits. Our dining experience here did not went as well as I've hoped. Food is pricey and of inferior quality, the ambiance did not impress and service was slow (staffs were tied up with the private event on the other side!). Sadly the supposedly Fullhouse experience was only 'Half'House at best. For full review - http://midas400.blogspot.sg/2014/03/dinner-at-fullhouse-signature-clarke.html continue reading

Good:- Beautifully decorated cafe! Cutesy-themed with mainly white-based decorations make the whole place look cosy and sweet.- Seats were not too closely spaced so you get your privacy with your date still.- Comfortable sofas present for those who prefer to sip their coffee for prolonged period of time with their friends.- Excellent food that leaves you wanting for more! The Scallop Aglio Spaghetti and Carbonara Spaghetti is cooked to perfection. Deliciously!Not-so-good:- Slightly above-average price as much cost probably went into decorating the cafe.- More staff roaming around would lessen the time needed to get a waiter's attention.- If you are too hungry or a big-eater, you may need more than just a plate of spaghetti.Overall:Food tastes excellent. Ambience is good with the decorations. Would definitely recommend to my friends! And would definitely return again in future! continue reading

Fullouse Signature might sound familiar to you as they used to have one of their theme restaurant branches in Hotel Rendezvous. Back then it was already are popular spot for couples to have their photoshoots done in the beautifully designed restaurant. They have now since re-open as Fullhouse Signature Restaurant in Clarke Quay with a even bigger place and elaborate setup for to woo customers back into their cafe. I managed to try out a few dishes there and i have quite a few recommended items!A tad on the salty side, I still find myself slurping up this soup which comes with chunks of soft boiled onions! Definitely taste better when you soak the garlic bread into the soup, which is how traditionally house the french onion soup is presented.SGD 9Fried till golden brown, with cheesy strands oozing from it, this is a starter which will definitely catch your eye as you glance through the menu. Do eat this as soon as you can before it turns soggy!SGD 11 Dabbed in mayonnaise, it is definitely a joy to bite into the crunch golden balls which are packed with crab meat fillings! If you are a seafood love, then I would recommend this dish to you! This is such a meatly man dish! As I am not really a fan of meatballs, I didnt fancy it much. However I can totally imagine Chris Hemsworth biting into this and throwing the plate on the floor roaring “MORE” in true Thor fashion.Definitely a flavorsome dish which is served with 4 big fat juicy well seasoned scallops! If you are scratching your head over which pasta to order, this is definitely one of the recommended ones. One of my favorite dishes in Fullhouse, the chicken was grilled till tender and the additional of raisins with the dish was a nice touch to the black pepper sauce. Definitely a generous dish, all of us were exclaiming about the portion size!SGD 25Definitely a spicy dish, but some of my friend found this too spicy to bear. I personally found it ok, but don’t be surprise if your nose runs a little ;)SGD 20With sweet and spicy sauce coated all across the chicken, it was such a flavorsome dish which all my friends were happily stealing a bite from! The meat was soft and tender, unlike other places where I am subjected to eating dry overdone chicken.SGD 25VERDICTFullhouse signature is definitely a place to head if you looking to wow your friends with the beautifully design interiors. It would be great for special occasions like birthdays, proposals or any form of celebratory events. The staff there are passionate about their work and would definitely offer a helping hand if required.I personally feel that the food prices are reasonable given relaxing ambiance of this dining establishment, and how they try to make it a very interactive place for friends to enjoy their meal. There are definitely some hits and misses with the food, but one thing I cant deny is that they are definitely generous with their portions.Read more reviews at RoundTumTums.com continue reading

Impromptu dinner date with Ivy & Angela on Christmas eve. Didn't know where to go, I suggested on Fullhouse Signature cos I went to the previous one at Rendezvous hotel & it's very good. Wanted to order 2 of the appetizer + some ala carte items but both the appetizers were out of stock, so we settle on the Christmas set meal Meal started with Chamagne & soup (choice of wild mushroom or turkey chowder). I opt for turkey chowder with is a little creamy & sweet. The girls opt for wild mushroomFullhouse Christmas salad - well, it's actually the fullhouse salad with poached egg, drizzle with balsamic dressing. It also comes with a cheese stick which is not too cheesy for me.Main course - choice of Cod Fish or Steak. The girls opt for Cod Fish while I opt for steak. Steak is nicely done, & it's fresh. Dessert - choice of banana paradise or Molten Cake. All of us opt for Molten cake, which is served with vanilla ice cream. Ice cream taste a little light & not much of vanilla fragrance. Molten cake is sweet & lava flows when its being fork in. continue reading

Dream dining experience at Full House, it was invented by new perfectly princess concept. Décor was fantastic with lavish furniture, plushy toys and adorable collectibles. We were told by a polite staff that they actually closed for break on 3pm, luckily we still able to take our lunch. Great place for gathering or celebration, we were busy taking photos with the charming comic character. My order was the light healthy sandwich, most luxury version I ever had before. Pasta was decent traditional and full of country style. Black Pepper Chicken on the other hand was chubby tender with strong fragrant of spices. Too bad I missed to snap a photo for their dessert, Signature Molten Chocolate Cake was pretty. Never regret to visit such lovely restaurant, I will recommend to my friends around. continue reading
