The rice was really fragrance and the grain was not sticky. Taste like authentic nasi lemak. The dishes was serve piping hot and the rice too. It was very cheap, having a sausage, egg, luncheon meat with ikan billies it's only $2.50. And it is really tough to find cheap food near raffles place. I feel that overall was really good and up to standard, will pop by again when there are chances to do so.

There were couple of nasi lemak stalls 'infested' at this hawker centre and everyone had their own opinions as which stall serves the best nasi lemak. I just followed the crowd, the longer the queue the better the food must be. We ordered with a chicken drumstick, fishcake, omelette and ikan bilis at $3.00.The rice was very fragrant with both the pandan leaves and coconut, the ingredients were all tasty and the chilli were super too! We really enjoyed it.

This is one of the cheaper food you can find in this area. And for this price you can get a reasonable portion and good quality food. it been awhile since I have eaten the nasi lemak with pandan rice. normally they just served you the normal white nasi lemak rice. one of the dish that is a must order is their drumstick, I called it a healthy fried drumstick as it is not oily and when you cut into it, oil does not ooze out. The nasi lemak at this hawker centre is really good, they actually used green colour pandan rice. The rice is really very fragrant, it is not very clumpy. I like their chicken drumstick, it is very easy to eat, the outside is so crispy and fragrant. The meat inside is so tender and juicy. The otah is a little on the spicy side but very fragrant. For just $2.50, I can enjoy a delicious nasi lemak meal from Golden Shoe Nasi Lemak. There is always a long queue as the nasi lemak is cheap and good. The coconut rice is fragrant and the chicken meat is tender. The other side dishes include egg and fish cake which smells and taste great too.

I started eating at this stall many many years ago. I gotten my first temporary job in Raffles Place while waiting for the result of my A level. And, i happened to chance upon this Nasi Lemak stall during lunch and since then, i have been coming back regularly to eat this.The rice was superbly good, the texture of rice was rather moist and fragrant. Take a deep breath, you can actually smell the distinct smell of coconut. And, i love the greenish color of the rice that gave it an appetizing look

The jumbo size chicken drumlet is fried hot, crispy and mouth-watering. It retains its moisture even after some time or if you buy a takeaway home. The chili is awesome too. However, do prepare to wait as such cheap and tasty nasi lemak, everyone wants a plate. But trust me, it is worth waiting for.
