This greenish-milky drink is Gong Cha’s iced green tea latte. Costing a grand $3.20, it was totally not worth its price. The green tea taste was way too artificial, and tasted more like green tea syrup rather than the authentic matcha taste. It was also by far too milky and therefore the entire drink tasted more akin to a green tea flavoured cough mixture. It was too sweet despite me asking for only 25% sugar. Skip if possible.

Walked by Gong Cha at Square 2 and noticed that they have introduced a new flavour on their menu, Taro Milk Tea.The Taro Milk Tea however was a bit too sweet for me even though I only asked for 50% sugar level. The Taro Milk Tea also lacked both the yam and tea flavours. The drink does not come with pearls, so you need to fork out extra for them. Overall I think the drink is not worth getting.

The milk tea with pearls was good, nice tea fragrant. However, there were a number of ice lumps which affected the drink texture.

I love Gong Cha and that was why when I saw it at Novena Square 2, I immediately went and grab myself an Earl Grey Milk Tea. It was fantastic.. as the weather today was rather warm, this delightful drink helps me to cool down from the heat Everyone should go try it, there are many different variety of drinks available, tell me what's your favourite one, for me that would be EARL GREY MILK TEA!!!

I cannot count how many times I have visited this milk tea shop in Novena Velocity but still I am amazed by the taste of tea.Today, I gave myself a treat of a glass of gong cha melon milk tea which is the house specialty. I added pudding jelly as my topping and guess how it tastes???It is super good. Oh my, I just feel like drinking at chewing another glass but too bad I was already on my way when I first sipped it. xDOne thing that I dislike about the place is the person who serve me. His bossy

One thing that I dislike about the place is the person who serve me. His bossy attitude does not suit the shop at all. I think he might be just a part timer.

Totally thirst quenching!

This outlet of gong cha is slightly hard to find because it is located outside of the mall instead of within it. It was only when i wanted to take a shuttle bus and went through that particular exit did i realised there is a gong cha outlet here. I have yet to decide if i really like the type of special milk tea with foam on top. It is after all, their signature tea. But i love my normal milk tea too much. I have yet to decide if i really like the type of special milk tea with foam on top. It is after all, their signature tea. But i love my normal milk tea too much. I tried the alishan milk tea with white pearls, which taste very different from the black ones. It is not as chewy and just so slightly crunchy in a sense. I guess i did not stir it well cause the milk taste just simply overwhelm towards to end.

Purchased a cup of Gong Cha at the Square 2 outlet today- just the normal, ordinary plain milk tea. Currently the two seemingly strong bubble tea competitors in Singapore are Koi and Gong Cha. Different bubble tea lovers have different point of views on which is better. It was actually my first time trying Gong Cha today. For me, I feel Gong Cha's black pearls are slightly smaller than Koi's. However on an unbiased take, I find both taste the same, they both have strong tea fragrance and are equ

Seriously, I'm not a fan of bubble tea. Have been wondering...why is everyone queuing up for a cup of Koi milk tea??Until one find day when I discovered my flavourite Gong Cha at a hidden corner of Square 2. Out of curiosity, i tried Gong Cha when i over heard 2 ladies conversation raving about the taiwan milk tea. After the first try, my impression was ''well, not bad'', will drink again the next time. Ever since, I don't even remember when did I became their fan or when I have been addicted to

I have tried a few flavour from different outlet. My flavorite oultet is at Square 2 and the tea I highly recommend is Gong Cha - Alishan Milk Tea with White Pearls. My personal preference is 80% of sugar. It is interesting to read the instruction on the sticker:
1) Drink the tea (at the bottom)
2) Drink the milk (on top)
3) Stir and mix the tea + milk well
4) Drink again (now u get different taste and feel of it)

There are two new outlets in Orchard area: outside Plaza Singapura and at the basement of Orchard Central.

While typing this review..I am already craving for it!

What's next after the long queue at Koi?? The new upcoming bubble tea - Gong Cha!

Currently there are only 3 branches - Vivo City, Square 2 and City Mall. The queue of this is still manageble and price is affordable. The same format of ordering..

1st: Choose a drink
2nd: Choose the size
3rd: Choose the Sugar level
4th: Make the payment
5th: Da-tah~~~ ur drink is served!!!

We ordered a Gong Cha Milk Tea 70%, a Lemon Juice with White Pearl Ai-yu Jelly 70%, a Purple Plum Tea 50% and a Plum Green Tea 50% . I guess we were expecting too much from that little cuppa! The taste is not as nice as I thought will be.

I will think that this is just a normal bubble tea.. so not really worth queuing for... =x

Other than KOI that draw large crowds from the bubble tea lovers, Gong Cha is also another franchise from Taiwan and there are only 2 branches in Singapore located at Novena Square 2 and City Square Mall. Similarly you get to choose the level of sweetness range from 0, 30%, 50%, 80% or 100% which I will usually go for 30% only. So far the queue at Novena Square 2 was not that bad during lunchtime, and the average waiting time would be like less than 15 minutes or so. I love milk tea, so usually

I love milk tea, so usually I will go for their milk tea range like their signature Gong Cha Ali Shan Milk Tea with pearl. Their pearl is soft and chewy and the milk tea taste smoothing and great with that 30% sugar level which I find that it is just nice compare to 50%.
