Conveniently located at the basement of Cineleisure Orchard where many youths hang out, you would expect a bright and colourful interior to have your meal in. My friend and I were waiting for our movie to start, so we decided to grab some lunch. Being a somewhat regular visitor, I'm no stranger to this place. But this time, I decided to have a good, deeper look into Graffiti Cafe. The noodles are moist enough, not too dry. It comes with fried wanton, and a separate bowl of soup with soft wanton. You can opt for your seasonings - chilli, black sauce etc.The lunch!Left: $3.80 set; Right: $4.80 setIf you are super hungry or just in the mood for some extra wanton noodles, you can order the large wanton set for $4.80. This set comes with a drink of your choice - lemonade or water chestnut. But if you want just enough to fill your tummy, you can go for the regular $3.80 set! Don't like water chestnut or lemonade? There're other beverage choices as well, such as cheaper versions of bubble tea. While eating, don't forget to check out the cafe's surroundings - made up of creative expressions. Now, which other eating place allows customers to leave "artistic" scribbles on their tables, chairs and walls? The wallsWe have a potential manga artist here The downside of this place is that it's a tad cramped. If you push or lean back, you may hit some stranger sitting behind you. But hey, who knows he or she might be cute? ;)Also, the prices seem to have increased after my first few visits. I understand that the cafe has to cope with the economy, but I hope they won't increase them anymore, lest it drops out "being affordable" especially for youths. If you think this place is too "young" for you, fret not. You can expect working professionals, especially during lunchtime. Satisfied me!Next time you visit this cafe, don't forget to leave your "graffiti" there (not too much though)! continue reading

Ordered a set of wanton noodles (comes with a drink(choice of drinks: water chestnut, lemonade)), there is another set which comes together w deserts. The wanton noodle was good (texture of noodles was almost just nice), however for the wanton some people might find the fillings to little. the choice of sauces for the noodles are dark sauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce. I preferred the dark sauce one for this case. I had water chestnut for drink, it was nice and refreshing. for people who preferred a little "soury" drink then lemonade might be a good choice. continue reading

I just simply love coming here to eat after movies because it is a cheaper alternative to other cafes/restaurants in cineleisure, and avoiding the crowd at the food court! I love wanton mee, and it's quite difficult to find good ones in town, so pontian wanton mee is next to best! Ordered 2 sets with my friend and 1 set costs $4.80 and comes with a drink! I prefer my wanton mee with tomato sauce as it adds some flavour to it. Got the water chestnut for my drink and it tasted pretty good! Not too sweet but refreshing. I didn't really like the lime juice that my friend got as it's abit too sour for me. The wanton mee was springy and nice! But I think that more char siew should have been added! I prefer the wanton in the soup more than the fried wanton as the fried wanton wasn't crispy anymore when it was served. continue reading

Pontian Wan Ton Noodles has opened quite a lot of outlets in different shopping malls, food courts and even hawker centre. I believe most of us have already notice this brand and the wanton noodles is indeed a notch above the others. 2 different set meals ordered for lunch. It comes with green bean soup as dessert, wanton soup (with 2 wrapped wanton inside) and the noodles. The noodles are mixed with black soy sauce, includes char siew, vegetables, and 1 fried wanton. Taste is superb. 2nd set meal comes with a drink of your choice, chosen drink in the picture is water chestnut. continue reading

Dinner with my bestie was a simple affair that night We were shopping around the orchard area so we decide to have something cheaper and nice for dinner to save money I love the graffiti cafe! It's one of the cheap makan places in orchard! We were having some pontian craving hence this is the one of their best place to have their wanton noodles at onny $3.50!Plus we each get a free bowl of soup with their famous wanton! The queue that day's ok, we just had to wait like 5 mins for them to call our number to collect our food Serving portions quite good, plenty of cha siew and green vegetables!Best of all, we love their fried wantons!Very crispy Would definitely recommend everyone to have their meal there if they've yet to try out this place! continue reading
