Fried frog with ginger and onions $16 (small) meat is tender and flavourful. Decent portion. Sambal potato leaves: not sure of the price as it is not on the menu but you can request for it. I really loved this but wish it could be spicier! Prawn paste chicken $9. Decent. Not too oily. Batter was very crispy and the taste was good. The menu looks professional and all our dishes came within 10 minutes which was really fast! I will definitely patronize them again.

I was thinking what to have for my dinner, to eat out, pack back or cook and finally, i decided to eat Seafood Big Eater. It's always my favorite place to eat zi char, almost every time that's my destination. However, I decided to pack back, because Big Eater is almost full house everyday. Damn tiring to wait. I would comment that the service is not very homely. They are very busy and I can understand however, when they're taking our orders, they are putting their focus on us though. Pretty upse

Stir Fry Beef Hor Fun. $6 (Small)
Personally, I love beef and their beef is up to standard for a normal zi char stall however, it's quite a big portion, so if you can't finish, share with another. The hor fun taste like they have fried the horfun a little and after the gravy is down, it taste really delicious.

Seafood Mui Fan $4 (Small)

I really love their seafood mui fan, their gravy is really thick and tasty and the rice grains are not very sticky though. They are generous enough for their seafood ingredients! Overall, the taste is good.

YangZhou Fried Rice $4 (Small)

The grains are not sticky, a little dry but the taste is good unlike some fried rice that are really tasteless. I feel that it's worth trying.

3) Crispy Prawn Roll - not a common dish at a coffeeshop stall but they were able to pull it off and made a mean dish...

4) Hot-plate Tofu - a tad spicy but very flavourful

5) Black Pepper Beef - tender slices that almost melt in mouth

6) Deep Fried Baby Squid - hubby fav dish and yes, it's good!

7) Garlic Kailan - what's so great about vegetables right? Well they fry a good one.

8) Salted Vege Soup - they also made a good bowl of soup that is not expected from this place.

Total bill came up to be about $14 per pax which is very VALUE-FOR-MONEY. If in the area, will definitely return.

Had very yummy fried rice at Great Eater. The prawns in the fried rice is so juicy and fresh and sweet and really added a tinge of sweetness to the rice. The rice is not very oily though. You can also taste the freshness of the squid in the fried rice. the rice is also very fragrant! Such a value for money!

Ordered take away from Great eater again. The take-away only starts at noon for your information. I order this big serving fried bee hoon. My dad likes this dish a lot, he would always order this. Mostly because this dish is dry and still tasted the same after a long time. The lime juice makes the fried bee hoon more appetizing. They always give a lot of ingredients so i would definitely keep ordering from great eater.

Bought a take out Yi mee and it tastes normal. It looks a little messy because of the shaking on the way home. Well, the serving size is quite good, and i can actually share it with my mum. I like the noodles, quite addictive. Other than that, there are prawns and slices of chicken meat. However, till the end we got a little sick of the thick sauce. But overall, it's acceptable. Good.

It was my mum's birthday so the whole family decided to have crabs at Great Eater. It was pretty crowded for a weekday night. We had black pepper crabs and chilli crabs. The black pepper crabs were awesome. The black pepper was not too overwhelming but the most important thing was the crabs were fresh. They served us "female" chilli crabs. The roe went really well in the chilli sauce. Thumbs up for this as well. Of course, we had some man tous to go with it. We also had other dishes such as dee

Of course, we had some man tous to go with it.

We also had other dishes such as deep fried sotong, fried scrimp rolls, braised pig trotters and scrimp paste fried chicken. Generally the food was good, especially the braised pig trotters. It tasted like the chinese "lor ba" but with pig trotters. The pig trotters were really tender. Quite a special dish for a zhi char stall at a coffee stall.
