The grill out outlet at The Grandstand gives me a cosy feel as the interior design of it is simple with pictures of their signature dishes hanging around the restaurant. I ordered one of their signature dish and also chef recommendation - the grilled kurobuta pork collar. I guess I made the right choice to order this dish as I like it so much! Went to The Grandstand with a couple of friends and decided on Grill-Out for dinner. We tried their angel hair pasta which was served chilled. Love the symphony of flavours in this dish. There were japanese konbu, ebi roe and heavily drizzled with truffle oil. We also had their kurobuta pork collar that comes with generous serving of vegetables. The meat was a little on the tough side though. Overall this is a great place for a cozy gathering among friends and the price wise is still affordable.

Grill Out recently introduced a 2 course set lunch at $11.90 ++For starters you can choose either a mushroom soup or salad. As for main, I went for Pan Seared dory in lemon butter sauce. This dish was served with mashed potato. The dory fish was nicely done. It was very tender and the lemon butter sauce went very well with the fish. It was unique and refreshing. A free juice was also served along this set lunch. They served real juice and not some syrup water. Overall, for the price, the set lun

Overall, for the price, the set lunch was not too bad. Only problem is the portion maybe a bit small for big eaters.

I like their pork collar here as it taste like those "pork chop" I had before when I was young. A very homely taste. It also have this very sweet tasty taste of the olive oil that make this dish one of my favorite. Other than the pork collar, the ribeye steak is good too. Consider the price of $40, the portion is huge and will easily make you full after the meal. Service is good here too, worth coming for a meal though.
